It was a real pleasure to order in a cafe where all food was homemade and not mass produced. The lamb pie was superb, hot, tasty and flaky pastry. Looking forward to visiting again

I love blue cod and chips. The fish must be cooked and the batter is crisp and crunchy, not soggy. Rick&#39;s fish and chips are perfect. I can smell the ocean as I bite into the lovely fresh fish and the chips are crisp and crunchy. There is no added salt to this meal, you can get a small bag of salt and make your own.

We were lucky to get the last table. The food was great and the owner personally served each customer water, drinks, main course and appetizers. We told her that our food was not in a hurry because we were enjoying our wine and we were happy to drink and wait for our food. When our food came, we were pleasantly surprised and other restaurants in the South Island can hardly compare to it. We have to give this place 5 stars
