An outdoor adventure you can't stop eating and playing in 📍 Vang Vieng, Vientiane Province I can't rush my daily meals❗ Because if I rush 😜, it won't come, haha Here's my Vang Vieng meal experience: Clean the counter 🕐5-10 minutes Order 🕐15-30 minutes Serve 🕐15-30 minutes Eat 5 minutes I think I was waiting for the ingredients to mature 😂 I almost starved to death in this outdoor haven known as Little Guilin 👇Restaurants to visit (sorted by speed of service) [One] ⭐Vela Cafe and Restaurant 📍Main Street, Savang Village 📝A pretty hipster place. I thought it was Western food. I didn't expect it to be fusion cuisine. They have Laotian noodles, rice, and snacks, as well as Western pasta, burgers, pizza, and more. The fried spring rolls and chicken fried noodles were average. The fish soup noodles were highly recommended 👍very fresh and not dry at all. While I was fumbling around trying to open a bottle without a screwdriver, the waiter lent a hand. [Two] ⭐LaungXaiKham Restaurant 📍Main Street, ViengKeo Village 📝Because this restaurant has a kang (kang) to lie on, I walked in without hesitation. It's not crowded during off-peak hours, so the food comes out quickly. Free coffee, tea, and fruit are available 🆓. The sandwiches, baguettes, and pancakes are both quite good. Perfect for spending time on a sunny afternoon 💯 [Three] ⭐Namfonh Restaurant 📍Main Street 📝A small, unassuming roadside restaurant, with one owner busy all the time. We went there at noon, and there were four or five tables. We ordered two shakes, Tom Yum Goong soup, chicken fried noodles, and mango sticky rice. Thank goodness the mango sticky rice saved my life 😂. The other dishes arrived 30 minutes after the sticky rice was gone. We weren't full, so we didn't dare order more. 😰 The other tables that ordered with us were still empty by the time we finished. [Four] ⭐Green Restaurant 📍East of Nam Xong River 📝A dark and slow riverside restaurant. It's dark because the tables are only decorated with candlesticks. Slowness is the norm. After clearing the table and asking for the menu several times, we still had to order our own food. Fortunately, the dishes at the blind spot were quite good. The chicken fried rice, pork Khaopun (sweet and sour coconut milk powder), OH LAM (lao stew), and mint ginger sauce were all good. The pizzas from the next table were also delicious. [Five] ⭐Sanaxay Restaurant 📍Main Street, opposite E-mart 📝A popular and well-reviewed restaurant I've passed by it several times and wanted to go back. I arrived at 2:00 PM and they said they were closing after lunch. Eating and drinking in Vang Vieng really tests your patience 😊 More Laotian food 👀 Pig Page #ICelebrateNewYearOverseas #2024YourNewYearFoodGuide #CollectNewYearLuckyRituals #LocalFood #OutdoorExperience
