Standing under Hadrian&#39;s Arch, the sunlight penetrates the mottled stone gate, as if the Roman legions 2,000 years ago were marching past. This best-preserved ancient Roman city in the Middle East was once the pearl on the Silk Road, but it slept for a thousand years in the 8th century earthquake and was not awakened until 1806 by German explorers. Today, every stone slab is like an open history book, and I have become the most devout reader.

1️⃣ Oval Square: 56 Corinthian stone columns surround like a harp, and the light and shadow of the morning are sprinkled on the stone steps. Every shot is an epic blockbuster. The most unforgettable thing is not the monuments, but the smiles of the locals. Next to the Temple of Artemis, the old man in white robes forced me to drink iced pomegranate juice; on the return minibus, a woman holding a baby suddenly invited me to her home. Although the language is not fluent, the table of hummus, mint tea and pilaf is more delicious than any Michelin. When we parted, the child leaned on the windowsill and shouted &quot;Come again next time&quot;, and suddenly understood the meaning of travel-civilization will collapse, but the glory of human nature will never be annihilated.
