Kawakamian

Kawakami Amami in Karuizawa is also a popular check-in place in recent years. It is right at the old Karuizawa intersection. We went there early, so we went in without queuing. We ordered soba noodles and tempura, which tasted good. It is best to go there during off-peak hours, otherwise you will have to queue.

The soba noodles here are very good, the service staff is very qualified, and the dining environment is great! It is early summer now and it is more comfortable to sit outside. If it is winter, the seats inside should be very warm.

Japanese buckwheat, Nagano is the best! Kawakami-an in Hoshino Onsen Shopping Street has a gorgeous and elegant soba house full of artistic atmosphere, with a panoramic view of the natural scenery outside the window. The traditional Shinshu soba and tempura are even more delicious in the picturesque atmosphere!

Wandering around Kyu-Karuizawa Station, I looked up some local delicacies and found that Kawakami-an was ranked first in the area on TripAdvisor, so I came here. Although it was close to winter and not the peak tourist season, there was still a queue at the door at almost 2pm. Fortunately, many people had finished eating at this time, so we were able to be seated after a while. The Shinano area is famous for soba noodles, and this restaurant is also the main attraction, featuring duck soba noodles and tempura. The dishes were served quickly and tasted very good.

This restaurant is very famous. There are a lot of people here. The food here tastes very good. There are many kinds of dishes to choose from. The service speed is very fast, and the price of the dishes is not expensive. The attitude of the restaurant waiters is also very good.
