Ristorante Messner

So glad we found this restaurant like one does just wandering the streets knowing Venezia as well as we do. Having lots of rain lovely it was only a few minutes walk where we were staying at Ca del Brocchi. It has gone in my notes of which I write up in every city we visit.

Great local gem. Very good food and service. I had a half litre of house wine, bruschetta,, lasagna, mixed fried fish, mixed salad, and cheesecake with strawberries. Portions are large and I could not finish all. Very tasty and the server was efficient, friendly, and helpful. The bill was very inexpensive and they gave me a limoncello and dessert morsel for free. The place was very charming and nicely decorated. Set on a canal and part of an attached hotel. Go there if want a nice dinner at a very reasonable price.

A lovely meal, we had the lamb which was cooked perfectly. The fresh zucchini salad was just that , delicious & fresh. Great.

Second time here for dinner, always great service. This time I went for the pizza, nothing too special but was very good and great value for money.I'll be back!

We loved the vibe at this little place on the canal - so peaceful and enjoyable. Our server was wonderful and the dishes were good, thought not outstanding, and the bill at ɛ82 seemed a little steep even with a 22 euro bottle of wine. my husband enjoyed his bigoli w onions and anchovies.
