Pescheria Con Cottura

This was a new experience for us. The staff was very ready to explain how one could either pick their fish and method of cooking or one could choose something for their ready menu. The food was delicious. An amuse bouche of fried anchovies was light and tasty. We chose some fried sardines as an appetizer. Our dishes were orecchiette with octopus and pasta with mussels, ( already out of their shells) Very good. The restaurant is very pleasant. I would categorize it as casual, white tablecloth. Would definitely return.

High quality seafood restaurant with a twist-you get to literally choose the seafood you will eat. We had a number of pastas that were all delicious, salmon, frito misto and salads.. We wouldn’t order the salads again as they were iceberg lettuce and unripe tomatoes. The wine list is reasonable and so was the pricing of the dinner. The atmosphere is lovely. Would definitely come back again.

The food was excellent and served promptly. This fish restaurant is unusual in that you go up to the fish counter, where all the produce is laid out on ice, select the fish you want and then go to your table and wait for it to be cooked. A great idea but I found it hard to understand the choices and how it worked, even though the menu was translated into English. When the food came it was beautifully fresh and well presented, almost raw it had been grilled so lightly. Really good, I’d go again, but probably in a larger group of 4 or more so you can have a selection of fish and share across everyone

We dined here the other night and had a wonderful experience.The place, the service and of course, the food, were all exceptional. Oysters, scampi and fried anchovies. Taste treats each. Celiac, is not a problem. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing food, you won't be disappointed! The octopus is the best we have ever had! The let down was the toilet, no soap or paper and we had the resavation for just after they opened at 7:30 pm.
