La Menagere

La Menagere is a cafe bar with a local Florentine feel. The cappuccino here is really delicious. You can sit there for an entire afternoon while reading a book and ordering a cup.

This place is really beautiful but the menu is limited. There are unusual dishes with some interesting ingredients. The plates are not generous and the prices are quite high for Florence.

It makes a big impact on me when multiple dishes present amazing flavors I have never experienced before. During our short visit to Florence, of all the restaurants there are to try, I’m tempted to visit La Menagere again to further explore their interesting and extensive menu. Portions are on the smaller end, but because they were so generous with their phenomenal bread and delicious creamy butter, we left feeling well-fed and with memories of exquisite flavor combinations that we’ll try to replicate back home.

This was by far the best meal we ate in Florence while on vacation. The delightful setting and friendly staff made it all the more enjoyable!

It’s really good restaurant for dinner and lunch since it’s got unique dishes with bold flavors. Breakfast was disappointing since it’s missing pistachio croissants, granola, fruit platters.
