I ate Western food twice during my trip to Bali, one at Jimbaran Bay and one at Ubud. The fresh local ingredients of Indonesia and the Italian cooking methods are recommended. I recommend fennel wood roasted suckling pig and charcoal grilled sardines with sweet peppers. I am a carnivore. Of course, the restaurant environment is also quite good, quiet and romantic.

Lovely dinner in a refined but casual setting Dined here for dinner after doing a google of recommended restaurants in Ubud. Outside of the main part of town so we caught a taxi to get there. It’s part of the Como hotels and thus has a refined look and feel to the dining area but not pretentious. Staff were attentive and even provided natural mosquito spray as we were seated in the outdoor area. We were given complimentary sourdough bread, focaccia and lavosh with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start. We ordered the burrata as entree, and had the margarita pizza, rigatoni with lamb ragu as mains with a side of braised kale. As we didn’t know we would get the complimentary bread in hindsight we over-ordered for 2 people and could’ve done without the kale. Having said that it was still tasty. All of our food was great, however my partner who had the pizza thought the dough needed a bit more fluffiness to it but still enjoyed it. I’d definitely recommend and return!
We were walking in the streets of Ubud just trying to find a restaurant to eat but most of the restaurants were closed and we passed by this restaurant. What a lucky day, we had a great time and we enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.
A very good local restaurant in Bali, they serve local specialties and many varieties of seafood at a reasonable price. The steamed grouper is especially recommended. The fish are caught on the spot, so it is very fresh and delicious!
This shop closes very late. If you stay in Ubud and can't find food at night, you can go to this shop. The environment is OK, the soup is delicious, and the price is not expensive.
