Borkonyha is a Michelin one-star restaurant in Budapest, located in the center of Pest, next to St. Stephen&#39;s Basilica. The dishes here are very good, especially the veal, which is very tender. The bread was served hot. It was the first time I had freshly baked bread in a foreign restaurant. The sauce was also very delicious. I was pleasantly surprised.

I was not very hungry at night, so I ordered a saffron potato soup. It tasted OK, a little sour, probably because of the saffron. I remember that saffron is a very expensive ingredient, but this soup was only 2200 forints, which was quite cheap. At the end of the bill, a 13% service charge was charged.

I felt very warm after drinking it. I had a little stomachache, but it was much better after drinking it. I like this restaurant very much. The environment and service are very good.

This place gives you a large selection of food for a reasonable price. You can enjoy traditional Hungarian food but also other types of food including many different types of meat, cakes etc. Coffee, wine and beer are also included. I really liked this place and I will definitely come back when I return to Budapest.
