Delicious food, gorgeous wine, fast friendly service . Warm buzzy atmosphere. They had our booking time wrong but still accommodated us. Went with a baby and they had high chairs

Perfect romantic lunch before Christmas. We got married at this hotel in 2021. They have the top service and we&rsquo;ll be returning for lunch or dinner every year!

In September 1888, Queen Victoria bought a 100-acre plot of land in Kronberg and built a Victorian-style palace as her widow&#39;s residence. In memory of her husband, she called the residence Schloss Friedrichshof. After Queen Victoria died in 1901, the palace was passed on to her youngest daughter.
During World War II, the palace was used by the US military as troop housing and as the residence of General Eisenhower, the commander-in-chief of the US military. General Eisenhower and his entourage lived here for seven years, during which time he designed and converted the gardens around the palace into a
18-hole standard golf course, which is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Germany. A tourist wandered around, looking at the magnificent palace and the quiet and endless green space, and said, &quot;After seeing this golf course, I regretted for the rest of my life that I can&#39;t play golf!&quot;
