Dauth-Schneider

We had lunch at this family owned German restaurant. It was mostly empty when we entered, but a group of people showed up later. The person who served us was a bit rude and we ordered drinks and mains. My friend really enjoyed the beer, but I thought the cider was a bit sour. I had the pork schnitzel and my friend had another special, roast turkey and ham. My meal was good, although the meat could have been leaner and the mushroom sauce had bacon in it, which was odd. My friend also enjoyed his meal and we both ate a lot. It was a good meal, but the service could have been a bit better.

The tables are all set up picnic style. We enjoyed the excellent green sauce steak at Doth Schneider. Prices are very reasonable and they offer an interesting setting for seating outside or inside. The Sachsenhausen area is fun to roam and enjoy the sights and restaurants and I recommend staying here at least one night.

It felt compact and busy, but it was well served. This restaurant serves traditional German food and has a large selection of beers. It's open air outside, and you can choose to sit on the big benches while drinking and watching the scenery. You will definitely fall in love with it.

This restaurant is very busy in the evening, probably because they are really attentive, the waiters can speak fluent English and use English menu. I ordered the venison burger with red cabbage and dumplings, the portion is big and the sauce is delicious. If you want to experience a traditional German restaurant in Frankfurt, this is undoubtedly your best choice.

The steak and strawberries are the most unique dishes here, I really like them, I had the honor to talk to the owner in person, to him this place is like a treasure, this is my favorite restaurant in Frankfurt, you can also come and try it if you have the chance.
