Skykitchen Berlin - a resounding name, and a unique restaurant. This Michelin one-star restaurant not only has an excellent view, but also has creative cuisine that combines local high-quality ingredients, beautiful plating, and a stylish atmosphere, all of which are worthy of the name of the restaurant.

No. 12 of Fine Dining  in Berlin

There were two of us and it was our first time there. Good selection, nice atmosphere and friendly service. The steak was excellent, as was the tomato soup. The vegetarian main course was tasty, but was a bit overcooked like a thick porridge and could have been presented more attractively. The wine was good. Overall, good value for money. We will definitely come back, especially as it is very conveniently located right next to the Landsberger Allee S-Bahn and easy to get to.

I went to check in at the traditional Austrian restaurant where the fried schnitzel is said to be bigger than my face.
- Wiener Kalbsschnitzel: I hadn&#39;t digested the donuts in my stomach yet, so I shared a portion of fried veal steak with Hu Zi. Because it was too big, it was directly divided into two large pieces on the plate, each of which was bigger than my face. The thin fried steak, the batter and seasoning were good, and the potato salad was slightly sour and refreshing. Overall, it was worth it (about 21 euros for 2 fried veal steaks + potato salad).
My friend&#39;s appetite is much smaller than mine. After eating a donut, he only had the appetite to drink soup in this restaurant.
However, the best fried steak I had in Berlin was in alpenstueck, which also used veal. I liked the seasoning and texture very much. I remember that it was not as big as Alt Wien, and the price was slightly higher, about 25 euros per portion. As for other dishes in alpenstueck, it depends on luck. Some of them are delicious, and some of them are a bit strange in combination/taste. When I was in Berlin, I lived a 5-minute walk from the alpenstueck. Every time I went there, I would order veal schnitzel, and then other random dishes.

A restaurant I like very much, with a great felt. I usually come here at night to enjoy the romantic atmosphere!
