L'Ardoise

It is such a pleasure to dine at a restaurant where the chef takes pride in his food. Stéphane was pleased to share with us his excellent cuisine, and his staff was charming. The chef is an alchemist, what you get is far more than the ingredients he mixes together. I highly recommend this place. If you care about food, please support people who care about food. Like the chef at L’Ardoise.

Very good meal, quality was better than expected for the modest price. Menu is short but allows the kitchen to deliver good consistency of food.The only small negative was that there was only one waitress ( at least two were needed for the number of diners) having said that she did a brilliant job considering how busy she was.

Small but well thought out set menu, reasonably priced at €16 for 3 courses. Wine options also small in number but ample variety and not extravagant. Good mix between local and other regions.Would absolutely go again if in the area.

Some of the best food we have eaten in France. Great service too! The steak and the bresse chicken were awesome.
