Le Comptoir d'Ainay

Cute place with nice artwork. Food was delicious. The portions were quiet big. The lady who served was very polite and helpful. Love to go every time we are in Lyon.

Our food was delicious! The Lyonnaise salad was enough for us to share as an entree. Service was quite good considering they had a party of 22 or so to serve in addition to at least three other tables.

All around excellent! The food, wine and service were exceptional We wanted to dine there again the next day but they were closed (it was Sunday).A hidden gem in Lyon.

As usual the food was excellent (we both had the filet de lieu and a tarte aux fraises sur sablé). We sat on the little terrace which was lovely (although smoking is allowed there and we had a smoker next to us, but that’s just bad luck). This remains one of my favourites in Ainay.

We had simple meals of escargots and dorade, which were both good. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely quiet meal.
