Restaurant La Poularde

This was a last minute booking and we weren’t disappointed. What a good find! The waitress was very welcoming and the menus were . Three of us had the traditional Bresse chicken and 2 salmon. Beautifully cooked and presented. Would recommend and will certainly be going back when we are next in the region.

We received a phone call at 13.10 to inform us the kitchen closes at 13.30 even though our reservation was for 13.30. We arrived and ordered drinks that never arrived, we were served and had to remind them we had ordered drinks - the wine arrived but never the beer. Had the feeling our late booking (13.30 !!) was preventing them from going home. BUT I have to say the chicken was delicious !

A very kind and attentive welcome, reservations possible until 8:30 p.m., which we appreciated. Despite a menu that was occasionally limited, the choice was sufficient and varied, and the dinner was very enjoyable.

The food is excellent, homemade, and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!
