bd John Fitzgerald Kennedy | Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, 06601, Antibes, France
What travelers say:
Idyllic place to while away a lunchtime in the South of France. Sublime views over the yachts at anchor in the blue, blue sea. Everything pristine from the waiters’ matelot tees and white trousers to the crisp, elegant white linen. Every table able to be in the shade or sunshine as requested. Light, super-fresh seafood (steaks/burgers if you must) - raw, grilled or fried. I had a carpaccio of red prawns, followed by grilled octopus washed down by half a bottle of Pouilly Fumé. Not cheap though!

The food was good, beautiful scenery, the service friendly and perfect. Salad was very sour, also the vegetables, too much vinegar. I had birthday and the service was singing and bringing a little bithdaycake, so nice. Some men were in shortsleeves even at the reservations they wrote us to dress elegant and men long sleeves. One young girl of the guests had her naked leg on the chair and partly on the table. That was absolutely a no go and nobody of the service told her to behave. That was so upsetting.
Excellent in every way- impeccable food, experience, staff, etc…the place hits it on every single note. I loved it. The ambiance, the water, the olive leaf oil…
Stunning views, great food but unfortunately a non-attentive waitor who left us waiting to order way too long and disregarded several obvious attempts to get his attention to pay afterwards.
When you are sitting and looking over Antibes bay with a glass of rosé in hand, where could be nicer? The casual but very chic, navy and white restaurant with waiters dressed matelot style is very charming. The food is exquisitely light- lots of fresh seafood, carpaccio, ceviches- and terrific for a hot day’s lunch on the riviera. It is expensive for a casual beach style but actually the portion size is large so not outrageously overpriced.
