Imagine, you are on KVIFF (Karlovy Vary Film Festival), you are there with nice group of your friends and each and every day they close at 00:00. Nice, good offer, good staff but one week in a year during the only one festival and even worth to see event on Karlovy Vary you will expect more. But come and when you want to be early in bed you will love it here, because there is nothing wrong. But i still find something - they do not offer nuts, chips or Olivas 🙈

There is just one thing why it is 4 and that is to have during KVIFF open till midnight is strange.

Wir haben am 31.01.2025 wieder mal mit Freunden diese geniale Bar besucht. Das Personal ist total freundlich, es wird gefragt, wenn sich die Gläser leeren. Beim Essen gibt es nichts auszusetzen, die Burger sind echt spitze und reichlich. Kommen gerne wieder. Echt ein Geheimtipp. Schön, dass der Eingang so belassen wird wie er ist, perfekt.

We have visited this brilliant bar again with friends at 31.01.2025. The staff is completely friendly, it is asked if the glasses are empty. At food there is nothing to be put off, the burgers are really top and rich. Come back. Very a secret tip. It's good that the entrance is left as it is, perfect.

After spending half a day in Karlovy Vary, I searched for local restaurants and found this restaurant recommended by locals. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hot springs to the restaurant. There are no Chinese tourists in the store, let alone tour groups. This is a restaurant in a residential area on the mountain, which is considered large in the local area.
Main course No. 18, zeb&iacute;rka loin ribs, 229CZK, braised pork ribs with lettuce, mustard sauce, and horseradish sauce, slightly sweet taste, the meat is stewed very well and is easy to remove from the bones.
Main course No. 22, hověz&iacute; licka, 229CZK, sliced ​​braised beef with mashed potatoes and carrot slices, the same taste as Chinese braised beef, although the color is dark, the taste is still light, the mashed potatoes are very delicate, and the sauce is very good, the Chinese flavor will like it very much.
Fettuccine losos salmon pasta, 189CZK, smoked salmon cubes with arugula and white sauce, the taste is very light, I like it.
Staropramen cerny dark beer, 45CZK/0.5L, tastes better than domestic black beer, strong but not very bitter, and most importantly, it is more cost-effective than drinking beverages.
