It's not a very eye-catching noodle shop, but the noodles are really delicious and the seafood noodles are very fresh.
I drove 200 kilometers, crossed the cross-sea bridge, and came to the easternmost part of China, just for a bowl of authentic seafood noodles. The noodle shop is not very big, and there are only four or five tables inside, but the taste is really good. I ordered seafood fried rice noodles and a small yellow croaker noodle. The store will give you some other seafood and vegetables to match. The noodle soup couldn't be better.

Dining: Seafood Noodles 25 RMB + bring your own snacks (Fishermen at the pier process your catch for 10 RMB per piece!) Total expenses should be kept between 600-700 RMB, perfect for students! 🏝️Attractions Red and Black List (Must-Read for Budget Travelers) ✅ Free Amazing Photo Spots: • Miaozihu Red and White Lighthouse (Stunning sunset! Perfect for photos in a white dress) • Dongfushan Century Dawn Point (Get up at 4 AM for the earliest sunrise in China!) • Qingbang Island "Sea Potala Palace" (Ruins-like stone houses, instantly transporting you to the Middle Ages) ❌ Avoid these pitfalls: The island sightseeing bus costs 88 yuan (hiking is free and offers better scenery!), and sea fishing is overpriced (renting a fishing rod at the pier is 10 yuan, but fishing yourself is much better). 🚢 Budget-Friendly Route (Avoid Scams) DAY 1: Ningbo bus → Zhujiajian Wharf (💰60 yuan) → 2-hour boat ride to Miaozihu (don't disembark! Pay an extra 30 yuan to go directly to Dongfushan) → Overnight stay at Dongfushan to see the blue tears (highest incidence from June to August!) DAY 2: Wake up at 5 am to watch the sunrise → 4-hour island hike (Dashuwan Stone Houses + Elephant Trunk Peak are amazing!) → Afternoon boat ride to Miaozihu → Visit the filming location of "The Continent" DAY 3: A whirlwind tour of Miaozihu's free attractions (Caibogong Statue/Dongji Pavilion) → Return by boat before 4 pm (missing the last boat will be a nightmare!) 🍜 Food Guide for Budget-Conscious Guests // Prices on the island are doubled! Can't get a lower deck ferry ticket? Wait 15 minutes before departure at the pier window to snag a resident ticket (100 yuan – the best value!) 2. If you have a lot of luggage, don't stay at Dongfushan! Climbing the stairs will drive you crazy. We recommend storing your luggage at Miaozihu. 3. Essentials: 200 yuan in cash + mosquito repellent + a windproof hat (ATMs are only available at Miaozihu on the island, and the mosquitoes are incredibly vicious!) Dongji Island truly punishes every poor person who doesn't do their research! But follow this guide, and you can see the azure waters while keeping your wallet safe! Sisters, let's go! 🗺 Itinerary (see Figure 2) Day 1 - Zhujiajian: Depart from Hangzhou ➡️ Arrive in Zhoushan ➡️ Lunch ➡️ Guanyin Dharma Realm ➡️ Zhangzhou Bay ➡️ Ring Road ➡️ Xiaowushitang ➡️ Dinner Day 2 - Putuoshan: Hotel ➡️ Shenjiamen ➡️ Zhujiajian Wugongshi Wharf ➡️ Putuoshan ➡️ Zhujiajian Wugongshi Wharf ➡️ Dinner ➡️ Return to Hangzhou 🌃 Accommodation Near Shenjiamen or Zhoushan East Port Great value, close to attractions, suitable for self-driving 🍚 Food (several restaurants we ate at during the itinerary) Authentic and authentic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommended! Suitable for out-of-towners, with clearly marked prices and good value. The braised East China Sea mixed fish and steamed Zhoushan hairtail are both good. Shunlai Seafood Stall ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Average, the taste was okay, but the mantis shrimp they served the first time weren't fresh and the meat was flabby. After I told them, they were of better quality. Feizhu Noodle House ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Average, the taste was okay, but the value wasn't great. They didn't have the basic dishes, and the recommended seafood wasn't listed, making it difficult for out-of-towners to order. Baiwei Miaogong Restaurant (Vegetarian Buffet) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Average, not good value. Maybe we went too late and didn't have much to offer. ⚠️Others - I hired a guide for 300 yuan to visit Puji Temple in Putuoshan. They didn't visit Guanyin Temple and Nanhai Guanyin Temple (mainly because I didn't understand much, so I was thinking of hiring a guide. I'm not sure if that's expensive 😂). - Parking fees in Zhoushan are not expensive, generally between 4 and 6 yuan per hour. - Check the weather when visiting Putuoshan; flights may be cancelled in bad weather.
