The mushy noodles are filled with a rich, filling topping, and the aroma of red beans and other legumes, plus the sturdy, chewy beef morsels—even kids can enjoy it. If you like it spicy, you can add chili peppers 🌶️, but we didn't even think about it after we finished eating because the plain flavor was so good! 🥙 The scallions were really interesting—tender and crispy without any onion flavor. 2️⃣ Handmade Spicy Noodles I bought them casually on the street, and they turned out pretty good—not too spicy. They're huge, and only 3 yuan each! Two for 5 yuan! The prices are quite good, too. 4️⃣ Xi Apo Congee and Cake Shop I was initially drawn in by the "yogurt porridge" sign at the entrance. Many of the sweet porridges are available hot, but the yogurt porridge tastes better at room temperature (cold). The lamb trotters are a bit strong, so I recommend ordering one to share and then ordering more as you can. The other specialties are great for trying new dishes. 7️⃣ Others Because goji berries are a Zhongwei specialty, you can try a box of fresh goji berries for 10 yuan. But children shouldn't eat too much, just 3-4 a day! The fruit here is also worth trying, including the tomatoes 🍅, which are very fragrant and have a distinct tomato aroma. You can buy yogurt from the uncle at the entrance of Xiangyang Snack Street. It's relatively cheap, and they give you a "Zhongwei" check-in sticker. Zhongwei truly amazed me.
