When you come to Zhangye, you must try the local Shandan mutton! Features: fresh, tender, and not smelly! I bought a pound of hand-pulled mutton and some grilled skewers, with three cannons. The hand-pulled mutton is so delicious, there is no smell of mutton, the portion is full, and it is salty and you can't stop eating it! It's better than what I ate in other restaurants in Zhangye! The grilled skewers are all good. It is recommended not to order the 2 yuan mutton skewers, just choose the big skewers, the 2 yuan ones are really mini [grin] Summary: The boss lady is very kind, every employee in the store is very enthusiastic, we didn't order much and the attitude was just as good, a very pleasant meal, I will come again!

It's right next to the Shanxi Guild Hall, and next door is a beef vendor, but the beef vendor is closed at night. You can still eat at this restaurant in the middle of the night, but the taste is very ordinary, the service is also average, we asked for eggplant but they gave us green peppers.

They might think that's all they've seen of the Dafo Temple, but to the north of the Dafo Pagoda lies a small courtyard, home to the Shanxi Guild Hall, another historic and beautiful ancient structure well worth a visit. [Coke] The Shanxi Guild Hall is a typical Northwest Chinese residential building, its ancient architecture boasting carved beams and painted pillars, creating a quaint and beautiful atmosphere. The Shanxi Guild Hall consists of four areas: accommodation, entertainment, commercial and meeting areas, and the Guandi Temple. The complex's meticulous layout, symmetrical along a central axis, embodies the hallmarks of ancient Chinese architecture. The most striking feature is the Grand Theater, the hall's star structure. Constructed of square stone blocks, it boasts an intricate structure and a majestic presence. Guan Yu is enshrined in the Shanxi Guild Hall. The plaque at the Guandi Temple bears the inscription "乃大男子" (meaning "a real man"), a handwritten inscription by Yan Xishan. This plaque is also quite rare. [TeaDrinker] There's a teahouse on the first floor of the ancient building on the central axis of the Shanxi Guild Hall, where you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea. If you visit around 4 or 5 pm, after your visit, sit in the Shanxi Guild Hall and enjoy a cup of tea, watching the sun slowly set. I found this place online and came here out of nowhere. I felt that the management was a mess. I ordered a few dishes. The barbecue came quickly but was tough. The other dishes didn't come out for over an hour and they didn't come out either. I had to keep asking before 2 cold dishes came out. An hour and a half later, I ordered the hand-pulled lamb and the spicy and sour lamb tripe. They didn't come out at all. After asking, they said they were out of stock. This kind of service is considered the best in the restaurant industry.

I waited for more than an hour, and was served 2 cold dishes and a skewer of meat.
