Lingshang Renjia is located in Lingshang Village, Hesheng Township, Yongjia County, halfway up the mountain, about 3 kilometers away from the entrance of the Little Three Gorges in the Shiweiyan Scenic Area of ​​the Nanxi River. It is reported that as early as the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, there were people living and multiplying here, and today there is still an ancient rural village with a history of more than 400 years preserved. Tourists who have been to Lingshang Renjia know that the roasted whole lamb, which is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and not greasy, is a local specialty with a very strong flavor. Every weekend, the 11 Lingshangrenjia farmhouses that can accommodate 1,000 people are almost all full, and cars parked on the side of the road stretch for several kilometers. Jin Banggan, the head of a farm stay, told us that the local roasted whole lamb is made from local goats and is roasted over charcoal using a unique recipe. It is delicious and tasty.
