窝窝头12Lu's Ancient House is a salt merchant's house. You can visit it for free if you eat there, but you need to buy a ticket to visit the scenic spot alone. Compared with other salt merchant gardens, this ancient house probably limits the number of people because of the dining time. Going inside can quietly appreciate the beauty of the Jiangnan ancient house.

This restaurant has been selected as a Ctrip Gourmet Restaurant. It is very unique. It was converted from an ancient house in Yangzhou into a restaurant. In the process of improvement, the original architectural charm of the ancient house was preserved as much as possible without much change. It is really very unique to taste the authentic Yangzhou cuisine in such an environment.
Environment: It was great to eat at the salt merchant's house. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was not very good. Service: Responsive, average, nothing to praise. Taste: 200 yuan per person, no ordering, only set meals, must be booked in advance. There were no amazing dishes. Although there was puffer fish, it felt a bit fresh. I don't know if it was because I often eat seafood. The lion's head was well-made and melted in the mouth. I personally feel that it is better than the Lion House. A Bite of China was filmed here.
The storefront is very small, just like the front door of a family. There is a different world after you walk in. Even if you don't eat, it's nice to walk around and visit. It feels like a deep courtyard, and the environment is absolutely good. The waiter is very warm and thoughtful, and the dishes are served quickly. We came for breakfast, and ordered all kinds of buns and snacks. They all tasted good, and the blind spots were all good. It is a five-star recommended place
I live near He Garden and my boss recommended this place. It is actually a remodeled Lu's old house. If you don't eat, you need to pay a ticket to visit. Individual visitors are in the back yard. You have to go through a long gray wall corridor. The yard is full of big red lanterns and not many people. There are not many dishes. The squirrel fish is not big and tastes too sweet. It is not as good as expected. Wensi tofu is delicious, lion head is ok and not greasy. Yangzhou fried rice depends on the taste. Maybe shrimp paste is added. Some people think it is delicious and some people think it tastes weird. The stir-fried seasonal vegetables are more refreshing. Fried spring rolls are the least recommended. They are very average. It is not cheap for the local area. Overall, I feel that half of the money is the environment of the food.
The Huaiyang cuisine is excellent, and I had breakfast and dinner here. There are many private rooms available if you reserve in advance, and individual guests without reservations can dine in the à la carte restaurant. Dinner starts early, with entry open at 5:15. Dining with us also includes a free tour of the historic residence.
