城市漫游记Shiweitian West District is my first choice for a formal meal in Yangzhou. During the Spring Festival, I went to Yangzhou and listened to the introduction of the locals and went to another time-honored restaurant. After going back and comparing it with Shiweitian, I became a stronger supporter of it.
Huaiyang cuisine has the characteristics of good ingredients, fine knife skills, and light taste. Shiweitian does it very well!
Of course, in addition to Huaiyang cuisine, Shiweitian also has other innovative dishes that are worth tasting!

Seeing the exquisite dishes of Shiweitian, I feel very appetizing. The blue and white porcelain plates and the various dishes complement each other. The exquisite dishes and delicious taste are worthy of Huaiyang cuisine. I still like Shiweitian very much. I will never get tired of it after eating it several times.
If I were to ask why I want to go to Yangzhou, the most attractive thing is of course the Huaiyang cuisine in Yangzhou. The thousand-thread tofu and shrimp in the photo are all famous Yangzhou dishes, and Shiweitian is a long-established restaurant that specializes in Huaiyang cuisine. It is hard to imagine that a piece of soft tofu can be cut into threads. The lion head is also very delicious.
It was my first time in Yangzhou, so I tried it after seeing it online. It was quite good, especially the lion head, which was soft, sticky and fragrant. The premium dried shredded vegetables were also delicious, with the rich flavor of the soup not available everywhere. There was also a Yangzhou fried rice, which looked plain but tasted different, completely different from the fried rice in the north, delicious!
This is a signature restaurant for Huaiyang cuisine. They serve classic dishes such as crab meat with pork chop, boiled dried shredded vegetables, and fried eel paste. I always eat at this restaurant every time I come to Yangzhou. The environment is also quite good, the service is attentive, and it has received five-star reviews.
During the Spring Festival, I went to the south. Whenever I passed by Yangzhou, I had to visit this restaurant. The Huaiyang cuisine here is very popular among the locals. It was already 1:30 when we arrived in Yangzhou, close to the closing time for lunch, but the waiter still received us very well. Several representative dishes of Huaiyang cuisine: Wensi tofu soup, fried eel paste, crab meat lion head, and Yangzhou fried rice. It happened to be my birthday today, so I added a bowl of Yangchun noodles. To be honest, 5 people really can't finish it [grin] The taste is still amazing
