This is an old-fashioned restaurant. There are many people. You need to queue up during meal time. The decoration is also antique. The environment is quite standard and clean. I went there because of the reputation of the taste, but I felt it was just average. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Since we were in Dongguan Street, we had to eat at a few more restaurants. Our strategy was to try a few dishes from each restaurant. We ordered the restaurant's most famous tofu pudding and Huangqiao sesame cake. I personally felt that the tofu pudding was average, but the sesame cake was quite delicious. Huangqiao sesame cake has many kinds of fillings, but we only ordered the ordinary salty one.

After eating tofu pudding at Juxiangzhai on the first day, I decided to have breakfast here on the last day. The Huangqiao sesame cake with osmanthus sugar flavor is actually sweet, without the sweet osmanthus fragrance, and the texture is quite crisp. The wontons with soy sauce soup + spicy powder are delicious, and the wonton skin is slippery, which instantly brings back the memory of wontons when I was a child. As for tofu pudding, I have to eat another bowl anyway. I may not be able to taste such a taste and texture when I return to Shanghai.

Staying at Changle Inn, I was walking around Dongguan Street in the afternoon. I passed by this store. My friend said that the tofu pudding was delicious, so we rushed in to satisfy our cravings. Chinese snack bar, the environment is OK, with air conditioning. Pay the bill first, and take the food yourself. Tofu pudding is 6 yuan per bowl, the portion is not bad, the seasoning is at the bottom of the bowl, and it is not bad to mix it with chili oil, with a bean fragrance. Shredded radish crispy cake, 2.5 yuan each, OK.
