The Yancheng Eight Bowls Tasting Shop has two storefronts, one for breakfast and one for lunch and dinner. Both are very popular. You need to queue up for dinner and wait for a seat during the breakfast peak. The breakfast is quite rich and everything you order is delicious!

There is a famous restaurant in Yancheng, Huaiyanglou, which seems to have many branches. In fact, Yancheng is not known for Huaiyang cuisine, but this restaurant is still quite popular locally. It was lunch time when we came, which was already late, but there were still many customers in the restaurant, and the restaurant was quite clean. I tasted a few dishes and I personally think they are OK, such as Huai&#39;an soft pocket and Yangzhou lion head, which are well cooked and have the magic of Huaiyang cuisine. I also ordered a mutton pot, which tasted quite good, and I ate a few more bowls of mutton soup. The rest of the dishes were also OK.
