Day 4 of my Shanxi trip also took me to Xinzhou Ancient City.

In the afternoon, I took a train from Pingyao Station to Xinzhou, Shanxi.

I stayed at the Yimuyiqi B&amp;B (Xinzhou Ancient City Branch) in the ancient city. The location is excellent, right next to the Xiurong Academy. Between the academy and the B&amp;B are snack streets like Xiurong North Lane and Taishan Temple Lane. All the popular Xinzhou Ancient City snacks&mdash;roasted pig&#39;s trotters, ancient city yogurt, yellow rice jelly cakes, etc.&mdash;are all nearby. The only downside is the long lines. 😂😂😂
👌🏻👌🏻After packing my bags🧳 and taking a rest, it was almost 6 o&#39;clock, so I went out to find something to eat. Turn right from the B&amp;B and walk straight for two minutes to find Xiurong Academy. There was a dance performance going on right outside the entrance. After watching for a while, I wandered around the snack street. I chose Dingxiang Fanpu (Taishan Miaoxiang Branch) (Figure 13) for dinner. It was affordable and the food was pretty good. They make their own soy products, which is quite special. It was quite crowded, but they&#39;re big, so we got a table quickly.

After a satisfying meal and a satisfying drink 😂, the kids and I went to the square on the hilltop of Xiurong Academy to watch a performance (only a short performance outside; if you want to see the whole thing, you can buy a ticket inside). We also saw the night view of Xinzhou Ancient City. The mountain was very comfortable; the temperature in Xinzhou wasn&#39;t too hot. There was an open-air teahouse halfway up the mountain where you could watch a movie, drink tea, and chat (it&#39;s also a popular photo spot in Xinzhou Ancient City). Figure 1

Wandered from dawn to dusk [Facepalm] (Shanxi gets dark about an hour later than Qingdao, around 8:00 PM).

Bought a bottle of Wutaishan beer at the convenience store 🍺 and went back to the B&amp;B with my friends for a drink [Facepalm] See you tomorrow.

After watching a movie in Junhua New World, I came out to find food. I wanted to eat the Angry Burger that is very popular recently. But when I arrived, I was told that it was out of stock and sold out nationwide. I was very disappointed. Then I saw that I had a birthday coupon but it was not used, so I bought a birthday bucket. The portion was big, and it should be enough for 3 people. The two of us were very full and felt very uncomfortable. We also received a small gift, a mobile phone holder. The meal was really delicious and clean. The meat was tender and fried with a milky aroma. Mango drinks are popular recently and are very delicious.

A very worthwhile and affordable hot pot restaurant, with familiar taste, the meat is just the right amount of fat and lean, and a variety of ingredients. I ordered three plates of mutton, a dish of ten vegetables, and a small portion of noodles. It was so filling, and the food was fresh and delicious. I ate it while it was boiling. The combination of heat and flavor was very tempting, and the taste was very popular, which could meet the needs of different customers. It is highly recommended!
