Hey everyone! I just checked into the gorgeous Nalati Resort. As one of the first to experience it, I&#39;m sharing my real experiences with Holiday Inn Express and Indigo. Here&#39;s my guide to grabbing the best deals during the off-season!

📍Perfect Location: Super conveniently located next to the Visitor Center.
The hotel is right next to the Nalati Visitor Center, making it a short walk to the entrance and the surrounding area. Parking is also convenient for those driving, saving time and hassle. That&#39;s a huge plus!

💸Price Comparison: The Holiday Inn Express is the best value during the off-season.
Holiday Inn Express: Calendar Rooms are over NT$1,500, but our package was only NT$799! We even upgraded to a Grassland View Balcony Room with breakfast and a buffet dinner, which only cost NT$200 more. That&#39;s more than half the price of booking a single room. What a steal!
Indigo: Calendar Rooms are over NT$2,000. This high-end option is perfect for those on a budget who want a more immersive experience. After all, it&#39;s known as the &quot;most expensive Indigo in China,&quot; and the amenities and services are top-notch.

🍽️Dining Experience: A Mix of Surprises and Minor Disappointments
Buffet Dinner (Shared with Indigo): During the off-season, we had dinner at Indigo. The small hot pot style was perfect for the cooler weather! We had a plethora of Xinjiang specialties&mdash;grilled lamb chops, beef short ribs, ganzi pork, salmon, as well as a variety of Xinjiang pastries and salty milk tea&mdash;and it was incredibly satisfying. There was also live singing and dancing, which really set the atmosphere apart! The pastries were a bit disappointing, though: the crust was so dry it crumbled, and I thought they were leftovers from the previous night, which was a slight deduction.

Breakfast: The cheese buns were a surprise! Soft, sweet, and incredibly creamy, even better than many specialty bakeries. But even with the same team, the difference between the dinner pastries and breakfast bread was quite significant!

🏠Room Comparison: You get what you pay for, a true testament to that.
Holiday Inn Express: The room had a 2.7-meter double bed, incredibly large! Two people sleeping in it felt like talking on the phone. There was no minibar, and toiletries were standard, but the room was average. The hotel&#39;s main attraction is the stunning view. The balcony overlooking the grassland is truly breathtaking. There&#39;s also a horse farm behind the hotel, where you can enjoy a 10-minute horseback ride for 30 RMB &ndash; a fantastic value.
Hotel Indigo: The public areas are exceptionally spacious, decorated with local flair. The gym and pool are also located here (shared by both hotels), creating a more upscale feel. It&#39;s perfect for those seeking a premium accommodation experience.

💁Service Gap: The Express Inn needs extensive training.

Holiday Inn Express: The service is practically non-existent! The front desk staff couldn&#39;t even explain breakfast and dinner times. Basic training is recommended before starting work, as it significantly diminishes the overall experience.
Hotel Indigo: The service is significantly better. The staff proactively greeted us and responded promptly to any requests. The higher price tag is justified.

⚠️A small reminder: Some activities aren&#39;t available during the off-season.
The evening bonfire party wasn&#39;t on when we visited. If you&#39;d like to join one, you can ask the hotel in advance. Since I primarily explored the scenic area and spent most of my time away from the hotel, the Express Inn was perfectly adequate.

Overall, the Holiday Inn Express package is a great deal during the off-season. With room and board included for 799, plus an upgraded room, it&#39;s an excellent value. If you&#39;re looking for a better experience, choose Indigo. Choose according to your budget and you won&#39;t miss out!

The taste is good, the portion is large, enough for 6 people, the service is friendly, and the environment is even better. I recommend it.

When visiting Nalati Forest Park, there are many restaurants with Xinjiang characteristics in Nalati Town. The dining environment at Ga Sanhu Restaurant is good, and the dishes are rich, including Xinjiang-style grilled lamb skewers, lamb leg pilaf, special grilled lamb chops, etc. The flavor is good and the price is reasonable.

I&#39;m crying! The best restaurant in Nalati!
This was my favorite restaurant during my trip to Xinjiang. The Shepherd Grandpa&#39;s special cultural dishes were amazing. It&#39;s well known that Xinjiang people eat late, and their dishes are often heavy in oil and salt. For mainland Chinese, eating too late can be very upsetting, especially at small, dirty stalls where the oil and ingredients are not clean. This restaurant, however, is relatively light and refreshing, with a wide and varied menu, making it more accessible to the general public.
The waitress was friendly and attentive, proactively explaining how to prepare Loulan&#39;s First Palm and how to top the handmade ice cream with various jams. You can even get a free lamb pudding by checking Dianping.com! I highly recommend the spicy chicken; it&#39;s a generous portion, not pre-prepared, and incredibly crispy. Paired with rice, it&#39;s a truly satisfying evening meal.

This restaurant has a very good environment. It has both Xinjiang local dishes and Sichuan dishes. The taste is salty and delicious! There is nothing wrong with mainland tourists coming here! The boss is very enthusiastic and introduced us to the surrounding guide. The restaurant can also see the grassland opposite! Very good, there are guest rooms behind the restaurant, and it is very nice to have a garden! Next time you come, you can stay directly in his hotel, one-stop and complete! Great 👍🏻
