幸运so luckyI'm crying! The best restaurant in Nalati!
This was my favorite restaurant during my trip to Xinjiang. The Shepherd Grandpa's special cultural dishes were amazing. It's well known that Xinjiang people eat late, and their dishes are often heavy in oil and salt. For mainland Chinese, eating too late can be very upsetting, especially at small, dirty stalls where the oil and ingredients are not clean. This restaurant, however, is relatively light and refreshing, with a wide and varied menu, making it more accessible to the general public.
The waitress was friendly and attentive, proactively explaining how to prepare Loulan's First Palm and how to top the handmade ice cream with various jams. You can even get a free lamb pudding by checking Dianping.com! I highly recommend the spicy chicken; it's a generous portion, not pre-prepared, and incredibly crispy. Paired with rice, it's a truly satisfying evening meal.
The only downside is that there can be a wait at peak times. Check Dianping.com frequently, and if you plan to go, call ahead to reserve a private room. #NalatiFood #NalatiScenicFood #DukuGuide #XinjiangTravel #NalatiGuide #NalatiGrassland #NalatiTravelGuide #YiliFood #Nalati #Yili

I regret not going straight to his place on my first day in Nalati. My stomach suffered! !!! The following dishes are ranked by favorite: 🐑 Shepherd's Hand-Pulled Meat I'd be the king of this meal! The lamb was stewed to perfection, tender and flavorful, without a hint of mutton. The accompanying sauce was a fusion of chili and spices. It was a dish that completely wowed me! 🍖 Grilled Lamb Chops A feast for meat lovers! The lamb chops, grilled in a naan oven, were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a subtle charred aroma. Every bite was a satisfying feast! 🍯 Yogurt Both the taste and the appearance were spot on! Homemade yogurt with raspberry jam. Other yogurts with jam tend to be a bit too sweet, but theirs wasn't. Perfect! 🍰 Dessert Napoleon! Before leaving, I packed a Napoleon. Layers of crispy puff pastry with a smooth, rich cream filling. The delicate chew of the pastry and the rich, creamy aroma intertwined in my mouth, making it impossible not to want more!!! 🥟Baked Buns The crust was golden and crispy. The beef was accompanied by a subtle aroma of onion and cumin. A little more broth would have been great. 🐑Baked Lamb Kidneys Those with a strong palate will love this. The lamb kidneys sizzled in the oven, crispy, tender, and fragrant. The smell was incredibly nourishing. 😜 The ambiance is also fantastic! It's like Xinjiang cuisine's version of fine dining! #NalatiFood#NalatiScenicScenicFood#DukuGuide#XinjiangTravel#NalatiGuide#NalatiGrassland#NalatiTravelGuide#YiliFood#Nalati#Yili
