Wuweizhai Restaurant in Xingcheng Ancient City, Liaoning Province is located on the north side of the road east of the Bell and Drum Tower in Xingcheng Ancient City. There are semi-processed ingredients in the refrigerator at the door. The store is not big and has several separate compartments. It is very busy during peak hours. The environment is average, and the food is served quite quickly. We ordered a dish of braised mixed fish in soy sauce. The fish was very fresh and the meat was good, and the mushroom and rapeseed were average. The price is very affordable.

First of all, the food here is Northeastern cuisine. The portions are large and the prices are affordable. However, several dishes we ordered were very salty. Only the fried river prawns tasted good. It's just an average restaurant.

There is a small shop near the Drum Tower in Xingcheng Ancient City that has been open for decades. The dishes are good quality and cheap, with large portions and rich local characteristics. I tried crispy eggplant, dry-fried fish, and mantis shrimp dumplings. The local dishes are sweet, and the dumplings are dipped in soy sauce and minced garlic.

The taste is average, the pepper and salt dishes are not very good, the side dishes are OK. Their service is not good, a person who went alone (outsiders) was given a menu to read and think about it, and the waiter ignored him, two locals went there and ordered dishes with a good attitude, and the dishes were served quickly, and the family of four (outsiders) had a lot of smiles on their faces.
