Chengdu 🚄 Xichang 4-Day, 3-Night Babysitting Guide (Lazy Version) ||| 🌟 Plenty of Time, Sleep-In Itinerary 🌟 Complete Guide Details (Reference) - I. Transportation Departure: November 17th, Chengdu South - Xichang West Return: November 12th, Xichang West - Chengdu South - II. Itinerary Description Day 1️⃣: After arriving at Xichang West, take bus No. 20 directly to the hotel booked at Wanda. After a short rest, head to Lao Haiting. We had dinner at Quanxianhuo BBQ. After dinner, we took the bus to Wanda, bought two boxes of Liangshan Snow, and returned to the hotel to rest. ⚠️Note: Avoid talking to strangers and always use legitimate transportation to avoid scams. Day 2️⃣: At 9:30 AM, we took a taxi to the Lushan hiking trailhead. We recommend hiking up the mountain, which takes about 20 minutes. On the way to Guangfu Temple, we'll pass a large viewing platform—a truly photogenic sight! Just follow the main group up the mountain. There are signs along the way. Take the small path to the right of Guangfu Temple. You'll see lots of monkeys, but be sure to hike past Guangfu Temple to see the monkeys! 🐒 After your visit around 11:30 AM, you can check out the Liangshan Yi History Museum. At 12:30 PM, walk down the mountain to the Qionghai Scenic Area, which is directly adjacent to Lushan Mountain and within easy walking distance. Before heading to Qionghai, head to the nearby Qionghai Kitchen for grilled fish. The wait here can be quite long, so avoid it if you don't want to wait. In the afternoon, spend the afternoon at the Qionghai Scenic Area near Lushan Mountain. If you want to watch the sunset, you can go there. It's recommended to walk from the right to the left. The destination is near Diaoyutai. Return to Wanda around 4:00 AM. In the evening, have Xide Potatoes near Wanda. Afterward, take the bus to visit Tang Garden. ⚠️Note: Regarding the sunset at Jinlin Beach, I personally don't think it's necessary to watch it because the bus is so crowded that it's unbearable. Day 3️⃣: Sleep in and head straight to Huili Chicken Hot Silk (Longyanjing Branch) for lunch. This restaurant is a must-try! After lunch, we took the bus to Dashiban Ancient Village. We played around until around 3:30, then took another bus to Moon Bay and Jinlin Beach. The sunset wasn't much to see, so I recommend staying a while and leaving early. I grabbed a Liangshan hamburger on the way to fill my stomach. Then we headed directly to Jianchang Ancient City, where we had noodles and Sihu's egg tarts (the egg tarts are amazing and very affordable ⭐⭐). ⚠️Note: If you're planning to take photos at Dashiban Ancient Village, plan your trip earlier! It was packed when we went, so we didn't. There's not much food in Jianchang Ancient City, so don't expect too much; the prices are a bit high. Day 4️⃣: Slept in and went to A'ai-style Fried Food Shop for fried skewers. They were delicious! And not expensive! The fried banana and fried bread were amazing! If you want to take some strawberries home, you can buy some fresh ones at the market this morning. 🍓 After lunch, we took the bus back to the high-speed rail station.

The aroma of rice noodles and er si (rice noodle soup) hits you as soon as you walk in! It smells like Yunnan ham and chicken soup! No need to check the map! My Yunnan husband loves this place! They also have fragrant fried chicken mushrooms, chili paste, pickled vegetables, and radish. All self-service, it's a true Yunnan flavor! My son, who loves soup, chose the shredded chicken and ham. The broth is made with a whole chicken and ham, and comes with a handful of shredded chicken and ham, rich and fragrant! For those who like sour flavors, choose the passion fruit broth. The broth has the aroma of tamarillo and passion fruit, creating a rich, tart flavor! There are also garnishes of chives, tomatoes, mint, and shredded ham! You can choose between two main dishes, depending on your taste! The er siu (rice noodle soup) is thick and soft, and the rice noodles are smooth and slippery. You can even order the deluxe version! They also have side dishes like fried eggs, bok choy, shredded ham, and sliced ham. Work is so tiring, you should treat yourself a little better 😆 #OnlyLocalsKnowTheFlyRestaurant
🍜 The three key ingredients of Huili Shredded Chicken with Hot Pot 1. Broth: Black-bone chicken, aged ham, and pork bones are slowly simmered. "Golden, clear, and MSG-free," it's fresh, sweet, and lingering, leaving you with a lasting, refreshing mouthfeel! 2. Bait: Huili rice bait is shredded, "soft yet chewy," and absorbs the broth better than rice noodles (rice vermicelli is also an option). 3. Topping: Hand-shredded chicken and lean ham create a savory and flavorful blend. ✔️Small bowl of Shredded Chicken with Hot Pot Bait: The portion is generous! Start with the original broth to savor the flavor, then toss with pickled cabbage and chili to unlock the Sichuan flavor. The kimchi and radish are free to help you pickle, offering a sour and crispy flavor that's a welcome relief! But the original broth is a must-try for the first sip! The umami flavor reaches your head! 📌 Address: Jiankang Road, Xichang City (near Longyanjing Street, search "Huili Chicken, Fire Silk, Longan Store" on the navigation page) 🚙 Transportation: Take bus No. 4/13/201 to the Human Resources Market stop, then walk for 5 minutes. #LocalDelicious #DeliciousSnacks #TryAuthenticTime-HotShops #LocalSpecialSnacks
