万幸没信仰We went to WANNA after strolling around Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street in the evening. It was almost 11 o'clock and there were very few people at this time. The food here tastes very good, the environment is first-class, it is close to the sea, and there are resident singers. It should be a different scene if we come here during the day.

Recommended Attractions Gulangyu Island is an "International Architectural Exhibition," where stepping onto the island is like entering a world of slow-paced living. Stroll through its alleyways to admire the red-tiled ancient houses, climb Sunlight Rock for panoramic views of the azure sea, explore Longtou Road for artsy shops, and chase the sunset at Dadeji Beach, where the crashing waves create a soothing melody. Free to explore, the island holds countless romantic surprises. The Island Ring Road is Xiamen's healing coastline, with free access to scenic views stretching for kilometers. Rent a bicycle and ride the wind; on your left are the azure sea and coconut palm-lined beaches, on your right are lush greenery and blooming flowers. Pass by the Music Square and Huangcuo Beach, and when you're tired, stop to watch the waves crashing. The 270-degree sea view makes every frame a wallpaper. The Xiamen Botanical Garden is a hidden "urban oasis." The rainforest area is shrouded in mist when it's spraying, and the giant cacti in the succulent area have their own Instagram filter. Located next to Nanputuo Temple, this place offers a refreshing escape after a visit to the ancient temple. Opening at 6:30 AM avoids the crowds, and a 30 RMB ticket unlocks stunning forest-themed photos – a perfect choice for a city walk. Food Recommendations The Eighth Market is the heart of Xiamen's vibrant atmosphere! A-Jie's Five-Spice Noodles are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – even Nicholas Tse has tried them! Freshly sliced blanched octopus with garlic chili sauce is incredibly delicious; paired with a refreshing four-fruit soup to cleanse the palate, and a Nanputuo vegetarian pastry as a souvenir, every bite from seafood to snacks is authentic Xiamen flavor. Don't miss these Minnan delicacies! Linjia Minnan Cuisine's Xiang'an Ginger Duck boasts firm, fragrant meat; 1980's Braised Pork Rice Dumplings are generously filled, with glutinous rice infused with meaty aroma; Chenxi's Satay Noodles are overflowing with seafood, with a rich broth, paired with chewy sea worm jelly – a taste of Xiamen's savory, sweet, and savory flavors. A double dose of healing with sea views and delicious food! WANNA's restaurant and bar offers live music while watching the sunset, and the seafood dishes retain their original flavors. The Fujian cuisine restaurant at Heping Wharf features ginger duck with a sea view over the reefs, offering a perfect blend of romance and delicious food from sunset to the blues hour, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. Travel Guide A super worry-free 3-day trip to Xiamen! Day 1: Pray at Nanputuo Temple, visit Xiamen University (advance reservation required), and cycle along the Ring Road to watch the sunset in the evening; Day 2: Take the early ferry to Gulangyu Island, check out the most beautiful corner and Sunlight Rock, and then head to the Eighth Market for snacks; Day 3: Take stunning photos at the Botanical Garden, explore the cultural and creative district at Shapowei, and see the architecture of Jimei University Village. Enjoy romance and vibrant atmosphere for around 500 RMB per person. A Xiamen travel guide to avoid pitfalls! Don't join a tour group on Gulangyu Island; take the early morning ferry for a 35 RMB round-trip ticket to avoid the crowds. Have seafood cooked at the Eighth Market; be cautious about eating on Gulangyu itself. Pack sunscreen for July-September; Huangcuo Beach offers beautiful sunrise views with fewer crowds. Choose accommodation in Siming District; it's more practical with a bus stop and breakfast included, and you can still enjoy free attractions with a high-quality experience. A must-do route for artsy types! Explore the old port's creative shops in Shapowei, and take photos of the Twin Towers and the typhoon shelter together. Spend leisurely time sipping coffee and browsing niche clothing stores on Douxi Road. Then, cycle to Haiwan Park to watch the sunset, avoiding the popular tourist spots and unlocking Xiamen's artistic soul amidst the old streets and sea views. We met up with friends for a weekend getaway to Shimei Bay and discovered Cotton's Ocean View Restaurant 🏖️. Facing the ocean, enjoying a drink with friends while feeling the sea breeze was simply wonderful 🍺. The restaurant has an American retro style, and the mirrors here are incredibly photogenic – every shot looks amazing! Easy photos turn out great, and there's a huge window that frames the room like a picture frame. The food was fantastic; the pizza 🍕 was freshly baked and still had a nice cheese pull when it arrived. It was such a pleasant place to relax with friends.
