I chose the Old Street Big Three Bowls Restaurant, ordered a bunch of dishes at once, and a pot of super authentic duck soup. The bill was only a few hundred yuan, and the most important thing was that it was delicious! It is cost-effective and I recommend everyone to go there.

Very deliciousBut you can't eat too many dishes alone, at most 2 dishes are enoughMount Wuyi local dishesFor example, smoked goose, mushrooms, fishRemember to specify if you desire spicy or not spicy Fish casserole pot ¥68Egg omelet ¥32Many people, it's best to queue up at 5 o'clock
When you visit Wuyishan, be sure to try the local cuisine. I recommend a restaurant called "Da San Wan" (Big Three Bowls). It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Wuyishan Station. This restaurant is very famous locally and has been open for many years. It's packed with tables both upstairs and downstairs, and it gets especially lively during mealtimes. **Smoked Goose:** The smoked goose has crispy skin and tender meat, incredibly flavorful, and not greasy at all. It's delicious on its own or mixed with noodles. **Pork Heart and Bone Soup:** The broth is exceptionally rich and sweet, and the pork heart is incredibly tender. Each bite is bursting with meaty goodness. **Pan-Fried Tofu:** The tofu is pan-fried until golden and crispy, while the inside is as tender as pudding. It's delicious dipped in the special garlic sauce. **Stir-Fried Fish:** The fish is incredibly tender, and it comes with fried garlic cloves. Although spicy, it's really fragrant! **Taro with Betel Nut:** The taro here is incredibly soft and glutinous—absolutely delicious! Sweet but not cloying.
Autumn has arrived, and with the cooler weather, I'm craving a mountain getaway. Wuyi Mountain is sparsely populated and beautiful, a weekend is perfect for this. Hiking enthusiasts shouldn't miss this opportunity! 🗓 Itinerary: Day 1 Arrived in Wuyi Mountain by high-speed rail on Friday evening and stayed at Sangu Resort. Day 2 Nine-Bend River Rafting - One-Line Sky - Tianyou Peak - Dongtian Fairy Mansion Promenade - Dahongpao 🔸This morning, I took the earliest bamboo rafting trip. I recommend going early to avoid the sun. The entire journey takes about 2 hours. 🔸Take the scenic shuttle bus to One-Line Sky. There are two routes, one on the left and one on the right. The right route is longer, so we took it. It's very narrow! Fat people beware!❗️ 🔸The scenic shuttle bus arrives at Tianyou Peak Scenic Area. The climb isn't tiring, and it takes about an hour with some stops. From the summit, you can overlook Nine-Bend River. 🔸There are signposts at the bottom of Tianyou Peak. One path leads directly down the mountain, while the other leads to the Dongtian Xianfu Walking Trail. This trail ends at the Dahongpao Scenic Area, so we chose this route. The entire walk takes about 2.5 hours, with virtually no climbing. There were few people, and tea trees lined the roadside. For those with more stamina, I recommend this [Smart] walk. It's truly enjoyable. 🔸In the Dahongpao Scenic Area, we only visited the mother Dahongpao tree. You can enjoy Dahongpao ice cream and milk tea, both of which are delicious! Day 3 🔸Since we didn't visit Water Curtain Cave yesterday, we wanted to visit it today. To reach Water Curtain Cave, you need to take the scenic shuttle bus and transfer at Dahongpao. The walk from the bus stop to Water Curtain Cave takes over 20 minutes (with a short climb). It's dry season, so there's no water in Water Curtain Cave...so overall, it's not worth it. P.S.: There's also a hiking trail between Dahongpao and Water Curtain Cave, which takes about 2 hours. We then took the scenic shuttle back to Wuyi Palace Station and strolled around Song Street. Since we ran out of time, we didn't go to Zhizhi Temple. 📝 Tips: 1. The scenic shuttle within Wuyishan Scenic Area is very convenient. You can hop on any attraction you want, so there's no need to worry too much about route planning. 2. There are several walking trails within Wuyishan. The Cave Heaven Fairy Mansion connects Tianyou Peak and Dahongpao Scenic Area; the Rock Bone Flower Fragrance connects Dahongpao and Water Curtain Cave; and the Wizard of Oz connects Yixiantian and Yunv Peak. Each trail typically takes over two hours, so those with limited stamina should be careful. 🚉 Transportation Tips: The Shanghai-Wuyishan high-speed rail journey takes 3.5 hours. It's recommended to take the train to Nanping Station. From there, you can take the light rail to Sangu Resort. Staying in the resort makes it very convenient to visit Wuyishan's attractions. 🏨Hotel: Wuyishan Purejoy Hotel is located within the Sangu Resort. It's only a 5-minute taxi ride from Wuyishan South Gate and very close to Wuyi Old Street, making it very convenient! 🍽Dining Recommendations: We tried Da San Wan (Old Street Branch) and Ju Yin Jia (Mantingfeng Road Branch), both highly recommended by netizens. Da San Wan is spicier, while Ju Yin Jia is lighter, but both were delicious! #WuyishanTravel #WuyishanStrategy #WheretoGoWeekend #WheretoGoShanghaiWeekend #SecretHikingRoutes
Wuyi Mountain is very suitable for weekend trips. If you are a mountain climbing enthusiast, you can spend 2-3 days there, and 1 day is enough for leisurely bamboo rafting. I am the latter! 🌟 Itinerary Baiyun Temple-Jiuxi Bamboo Raft-Wuyi Palace-Zhizhi Temple-Teahouse-Sangu Street Night Market ❤️ Go out at 4 o'clock in the morning to take a taxi to Baiyun Temple, climb for 45 minutes at night to enjoy the sea of clouds and sunrise, and go to the temple at 7 o'clock to drink tea and eat vegetarian food ❤️ Jiuquxi Bamboo Raft is very close to Baiyun Temple, but it is difficult to make an appointment‼ ️ Xiao🍊Xu will release bamboo rafts🎫 7 days in advance, but there are only 50 bamboo rafts per time period, most of which are bamboo rafts + scenic area vehicles. but‼ ️ There is no need for a shuttle bus to go to the bamboo raft pier. 🌟 I started to swipe 🎫 7 days in advance at 4 pm. He was very unpunctual. He said 4:30, but in fact there were already more than 4 o'clock. Good time periods such as 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock are quickly sold out. If you are on site, it feels like there are many boatmen, one at the bow and one at the stern. One of them is a tour guide, who will hint that you will explain a lot for 20/person, otherwise you will row too fast! Passing many mysterious⚰️, there are also the famous Tianyou Peak, Yunu Peak, etc. 🌟The disembarkation point is very close to Sangu Street, and it is rowed from far to near. Then you can go to Wuyi Palace-Song Street-Guanyutai-Zhizhi Temple. You can buy postcards on Song Street. Dahongpao ice cream is not delicious, don't buy the most expensive one at the door‼ ️Then walk under Dawang Peak, all flat roads, with bamboo forests. Guanyutai can take photos with Yunu Peak! Zhizhi Temple cannot be entered, but the door curtain is very interesting‼ ️ 🌟Return along the original route. In fact, you can walk out of the scenic area to Sangu Street. If you are interested, you can climb Tianyou Peak. We were too tired to rest in the hotel. 🌟Go to "Unknown Chunzhai" in the afternoon to drink tea and write postcards! His postcards are better, but the tea is quite expensive. Next door is Yinxi Teahouse, which has a similar style. Zhizhangyuan, which is close to ✈️, has a better environment and a courtyard. 🌟 For dinner, the more famous one is Juyinjia, which has the advantages of good environment and can be reserved. Dasanwan is more localized, and you can postpone it if you are out of time. There is a sweet-scented osmanthus lotus seed that is not bad! Wuyishan cuisine is more Jiangxi cuisine, but there are also non-spicy ones. Sangu Street is much more lively at night, with many stalls, and you can go to the night market after dinner! #Summer resort suitable for June-August #Wonder of nature #Places that are asked about by friends circle
