It was raining outside, but the restaurant was steaming hot, with people filling upstairs and downstairs. Maybe it was just good luck 💝, or maybe it was just because the place was so festive, but that evening we ran into people celebrating their grandmother&#39;s birthday and seeing people celebrating after getting their marriage licenses. All in all, that meal was incredibly joyful. ♨️

The restaurant&#39;s signature dishes are stewed fish and goose. 🍗 They serve sturgeon from the Ussuri River, fish from the Qingjiang River, bighead carp heads, and yellow catfish (yellow catfish), most of which are freshly killed and stewed. 🐟 However, for Wuhan residents, who have become overwhelmed by fish, none of these dishes seem as appealing as the Northeastern stewed goose. The aroma of stewed goose wafted from almost every table.

The goose was perfectly stewed, simmering under the intense heat of the charcoal fire. 🔥At the proprietress&#39;s suggestion, we added sauerkraut, potatoes, dried beans, and potato starch to the pot. After a while, we added a layer of corn tortillas and simmered for 10 minutes, counting the time to open the pot.

The corn tortillas were sweet, soaked in the broth and even more flavorful. 🍥The Northeastern cold dish, pork skin jelly, had a jelly-like texture; Jiamusi red sausage exuded a garlicky aroma; and the Northeastern large rice noodles were spicy. A sip of Northeastern white pear or a thick hawthorn juice was a lifesaver. 🍧Dig into the steaming iron pot, share your recent troubles and joys with friends, and chat about interesting discoveries. It was another warm, heartwarming evening.
