▫️Taking the opportunity to enjoy orchids, we visited the China Orchid Expo Center, Wengyuan Orchid Entrepreneurship and Innovation Base, Huxinba Hakka Group Building, and Guangdong Nuclear Industry Education Base. 1⃣️First stop: China Orchid Expo Center

China Orchid Expo Center covers an area of ​​about 50,000 square meters, with a main exhibition hall of 10,000 square meters. It has special pavilions for Chinese orchids, foreign orchids, and popular science exhibition halls. Various orchid exhibitions and related activities are held here from time to time.

▫️At the end of September 2021, the &quot;Orchid Charm Wengyuan&middot;Land has you&quot; series of activities in Wengyuan County, Guangdong Province was launched at the China Orchid Expo Center in Wengyuan County.
The Wengyuan Tourism IP image dolls made a stunning appearance. They are the lovely Mr. Lan and Miss Lan.

2⃣️The second stop: Wengyuan Orchid Entrepreneurship and Innovation Base
▫️Wengyuan County is known as the &quot;Hometown of Chinese Orchids&quot; and is called the &quot;No. 1 Orchid County in China&quot;.
▫️Let the fragrance of orchids spread to the world, which is the original intention of the establishment of the Wengyuan Orchid Entrepreneurship and Innovation Base. This base not only has orchids to appreciate, but also allows you to learn about orchid cultivation, as well as related supporting services such as (cross-border) e-commerce operations, brand communication planning and implementation of orchids.

▫️Orchids are divided into 7 major orchid species according to different varieties, namely Chunlan, Huilan, Jianlan, Molan, Hanlan, Chunjian and Lianbanlan, etc., with different distribution areas and flowering time throughout the year. Some plants bloom a few flowers, and some have more than a dozen flowers. The fragrance is elegant and fascinating, and it has the reputation of the best fragrance in the world.

3⃣️The third stop: Huxinba Hakka Group Building
▫️Located in Nantang Village, Jiangwei Town, Wengyuan County, Huxinba Hakka Group Building is very large. There are 59 towers in total, and the main structures and artistic features of 32 ancient buildings still retain their original historical appearance.
▫️The building is very old. It was built during the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 550 years. If you take a walk, you will find that there are buildings outside the building, and there are buildings inside the building. The buildings and alleys are connected to the streets, which are orderly and echo each other. It is very interesting.

4⃣️The fourth stop: Guangdong Nuclear Industry Education Base
▫️One of the stops in the &quot;Lanyun Wengyuan&middot;Lande has you&quot; series of activities is to visit the Nuclear Industry 741 Mine Research and Study Camp.
▫️The Guangdong Nuclear Industry Education Base is located in Banxi and Xiazhuang areas of Bazai Town, Wengyuan County. You should know that the manufacture of nuclear fuel for China&#39;s first atomic bomb started in Xiazhuang. There are also the old site of uranium refining by native methods, expert buildings, supply buildings, and the old site of uranium mines in Tunnel No. 6 (Meritorious Tunnel). Through historical pictures and materials, you can understand the hardships and brilliant achievements of our nuclear industry.

5⃣️The fifth stop: Zhoupi Food City
▫️A time-honored Hakka restaurant in Wengyuan, Shaoguan, Guangdong, which has been open for more than 20 years, is said to have been on CCTV️.
▫️Among them, Zhoupi rice dumplings are said to have been around for hundreds of years and originated in Zhoupi Town, Wengyuan County. The dumpling skin made of rice paste has an extra layer of rice fragrance than traditional dumplings made of flour. The fillings are lean meat and fungus, and the thick dumpling skin is a must.
▫️In addition, there are oil-covered glutinous rice cakes, stuffed vegetable buns stuffed with tofu, braised lotus roots, etc.

Cakes and Pastries

- Copper Spoon Cake: Commonly known as Copper Spoon Rice Cake, this is a traditional delicacy from the Hakka region with a millennium of history. Made by grinding rice and soybeans into a paste, pouring it into a copper spoon, and adding fillings like shredded radish, it&#39;s then deep-fried until golden brown. The crust is crispy, while the filling is soft, glutinous, and sweet.

- Fried Rice Cake: Made by roasting and grinding glutinous rice into a powder, then adding sugar and sesame seeds, it has a crispy, sweet, and festive flavor, making it a traditional Shaoguan delicacy during festivals.

- Zhoupi Ice Flower Cake: A traditional snack from Wengyuan County, it boasts a beautiful appearance, a sweet and crispy texture, and a unique craftsmanship, making it a popular favorite. 

Ci Ci

- Jiaoli Ci: A common street food in Nanxiong, Jiaoli Ci is made by soaking white glutinous rice in a watery solution of yellow gardenia, grinding it into a paste, and then boiling it. The paste is then rolled into thin round slices and filled with sauerkraut, eggplant, chili peppers, and other fillings. It resembles dumplings and is steamed and ready to eat.  

- Guxia Guhua Ci: A specialty snack from Guxia Village, Fuxi Town, Renhua County, popular during the Hezhai Festival on the second day of the sixth lunar month. Made by popping the flowers of high-quality glutinous rice in a wood-fired pot, it boasts a golden color, crispy skin, and fragrant filling, with a sweet but not greasy texture.

- Huishui Ci: Also known as &quot;glutinous rice ci&quot; or &quot;water ci,&quot; it&#39;s made by melting the ash of the mountain Huangyuan tree in water, filtering it, and then mixing it with glutinous rice to form a paste. It has a crisp and tender flavor and a cooling effect, known for its heat-relieving, detoxifying, and stomach-strengthening properties.

- Changlai Egg Rice Cake: A local snack from Changlai Town in southern Lechang. This dish uses chopped bean sprouts, pork, and white radish as a filling, seasoned with spices. Steamed rice paste is then cut into circles to wrap the filling. Rolled into egg shapes, it&#39;s then steamed in a steamer for a mellow and fragrant flavor.

- Renhua Huatang Palace Radish: Made with fresh, pickled seasonal radish, this dish combines sour, crisp, sweet, and spicy flavors for a refreshing and delicious souvenir.  

- Zhoupi Rice Dumplings: A traditional Hakka snack from Wengyuan County with a century-old history. Using rice paste instead of flour for the wrapper, the dumplings are filled with fresh meat and mushrooms.
