You can even add carbs to your plate – a perfect way to kickstart your day! Morning: Planning Museum Enjoying a peaceful morning at the Planning Museum, viewing the exhibits and the river view, the relaxed pace was so relaxing. Lunch: Yiwei Courtyard I finally got to try the Yiwei Courtyard I'd been craving! The bullfrog and clam hot pot was incredibly spicy, and I ate several bowls of rice! After lunch, a bowl of sweet soup at Yaolin Dessert Shop – perfect! Afternoon: Food & Shopping + Sightseeing I rode the super thrilling roller coaster at OMG Heartbeat Park (I didn't brake the whole way, who knows!), and also got some great river views and fed the koi in the pond 🐟. Even watching the fish swim in my solitude felt so therapeutic! Dinner: Hu Jie Hot Pot Checked out the first Jiangxi hot pot restaurant in Tonglu – the broth was so fragrant I had to rave about it! Using the voucher was a super deal! The handmade dishes were fresh, and the retro-style environment made for amazing photos 📸 The biggest change in 2025 was probably that I'm increasingly enjoying time with myself. It was my first time trying scallion pancakes, and I was so excited! [Atmosphere] We took a taxi directly from the high-speed rail station. The place is small, with dine-in seating inside, like a small breakfast stall. [Service] When we arrived, Xiaoqiang, his son, was in charge. He was very polite and told us that ordering one rice roll would be enough. The other staff were also very nice. [Taste] [Supreme Taiwanese Rice Roll] I ordered the Plus version, which comes with salted egg yolk. It's loaded with toppings like pork tenderloin, ham, pickles, and mung bean sprouts. The glutinous rice comes from a hot bucket, and the whole roll is huge! You can even cut it in half! The scallion pancake and glutinous rice combination is quite good!
