If you choose a homestay on the mountain, you should choose a smaller one, or one that does not particularly emphasize its environment. Homestays are basically clustered together, and there is no one whose mountain view is better than others. It is best if the boss can cook, so that his meals can be guaranteed to be delicious and not expensive. Besides, after we parked our car in the backyard of the hotel, there was basically no moving car for 2 days. Before going out, you can eat near the old street or visit scenic spots, either by bus or on foot. The bus is 1 yuan one way, and there are few people on the bus. After reading the reviews and recommendations online, I went to Xu's Kitchen and Fengwei Seafood. The seafood at both restaurants is very good and fresh. Xu's Kitchen is probably a Tiantai-style roasting method, and Fengwei Seafood is a Ningbo-style one with more seafood varieties. Both restaurants are delicious and cost-effective. Fengwei Seafood is on Jinpan Road, and there are several other restaurants around it, with good reviews, but I didn't have time to experience them.

I called ahead to reserve a spot, but I still had to go early, otherwise some seafood would be gone. I ordered razor clams, swimming crabs, mantis shrimp, turbot, sea snail, and octopus. The seafood was very fresh, and the mantis shrimp was not big among the ones I had. Overall, it was pretty good, with a wide variety of seafood.
