Explore two stunning locations in one day—a relaxing and effortless journey! 🚗 Itinerary: Depart Chengdu at 8:00 AM and drive for two hours to the Tianquan Service Area. This service area, known as the "most popular online shopping area for the 318 shopping festival," is truly photogenic! Must-see spots: the 318 "Must-Drive" sign and the KFC Snow Mountain Wall. Stop for 30 minutes for breakfast. KFC (located on the west side of the Tianquan Service Area on the Yaye Expressway) is recommended; it might be the highest-altitude KFC you'll ever eat! Continue the drive for another three hours, passing through Kangding city without stopping, and head straight to the Red Lake. The scenery along this stretch is breathtaking, so slow down to appreciate it. The Red Lake (located in Yala Township, Kangding City) is located at an altitude of 4,100 meters. You can drive right up to the lake's edge, where the azure waters reflect the snow-capped mountains, creating stunning photos. Reminder: The scenic area is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 💡TIPS: 1. Sharing this wild and immersive experience! ✨ [DAY 1: A Chance Encounter with Wildlife] 🚗 Lezhi → Tianquan Must-take photos and check-in at the Tianquan service area! My teammates and kids were super cooperative, snapping non-stop and delaying our departure until 3:00 PM. 😂 Honestly, it really disrupted our plans for the East Route... 🎫 Scenic Area Tips: Purchasing tickets online is super convenient! Just show the QR code and you're in! Once you enter the scenic area, 🐒 it's all about the action! Make sure to keep your car windows closed! It's normal to be afraid, but remember these two "don'ts" to stay safe: 1️⃣ Don't grab food in front of monkeys. 2️⃣ Don't carry plastic bags. The little ones won't bother you! 🌄 East Route Experience (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM) A lucky escape! A trip off-peak! With very few tourists, you can enjoy the cool mountain air all to yourself! 💚 Route: Blue Crystal Hotel → Luming Hotel Takes 2 hours. We recommend taking a car directly to the entrance! ⚠️ Monkey alert! The monkeys here are incredibly aggressive! • I witnessed elderly people and children being snatched for food. • We were so scared we didn't even dare drink water. 😂 • Keep your snacks hidden! But the end of Red Stone Beach is a safe zone! Only after you've reached the top can you indulge in the food! There are also many 318 highway cultural and creative peripheral products in the service area Leaving the Tianquan Service Area, we went all the way and came to the Dadu River in Luding County, where there is the world-famous Luding Bridge. Standing on the bridge, the water of the Dadu River roared, as if you could see the heroic scene of the Red Army flying over the Luding Bridge that year, which was really shocking. After walking across the Luding Bridge, you can also go to the exhibition hall at the bridgehead to visit the scenes of the battle that year and learn about that passionate history, which is very educational for children.
