横竖是二温小迪🌈Sister Hua is really a pleasant surprise. This private restaurant is located in the ancient town of Heshun. We bought two single-person sets. The restaurant provided us with 10 hot dishes, two bowls of chicken soup, two desserts, rose wine, drinks and fruits.
🌿Environment: The restaurant is located in an old house with a courtyard. All rooms are private rooms, each of which is quite distinctive.
"Bird's Nest Peach Gum Tremella Soup" is great! This was served last, and I had to save my stomach for a bowl.
"Phoenix Tail Mushroom" I have never eaten this dish before, but I didn't expect that fried mushrooms are so delicious.
"Garlic Fish" has delicious meat, no fishy smell, and tastes very good.
"Mushrooms Stir-fried Bacon" is also very delicious.
"Agaric Mushroom Stewed Beef" The beef is very crispy and tastes good. The portion is just right for two people.
"Matsutake Mushroom" has a smooth texture and delicious taste. One bite after another, I can't stop eating.
"Pig skin jelly" is very delicious, refreshing and tough.
"Stir-fried pumpkin seedlings" is the first time I have eaten this vegetable. It is a bit like green vegetables, but it is tenderer than green vegetables and very delicious.
"Rose wine" is not bad, slightly sweet, and it really tastes like roses.
"Pork Burmese bamboo shoots" This bamboo shoot tastes a bit like water bamboo shoots, but the shape is different. It is very tender and delicious.
"Healthy chicken soup" can be refilled after eating the chicken soup. In addition to chicken, there are cordyceps and mushrooms. The taste is slightly light, but very delicious.
"Eight Treasure Rice" I didn't eat it, but my friends liked it very much.
👩🍳 The service is also great! Very enthusiastic. I kept asking me how the dishes were and whether I wanted to add a few more. It's really hospitable.

Coming to Yunnan is definitely a great way to satisfy your appetite, because there are many ethnic groups from south to north. You can eat different ethnic flavors in every place you go, and they are never the same. It is worth recommending.
The taste is amazing! The dishes are exquisite and the service is enthusiastic, especially the secret steamed fish with black bean sauce, which tastes amazing. We also bought some to take back and prepare to steam fish. The restaurant is in an old house, and the furniture is all old objects, which is very impressive. The price is a little expensive, but it is worth it!
Sister Hua’s homemade dishes are intoxicating with her delicate and skillful cooking.
To be frank, I'm a working, married, older Guangzhou resident who enjoys eating, a little picky but not quite at the Michelin-starred level yet. This entire post represents only my personal opinion and price expectations. Day 1: Heshun Ancient Town - Hua Jie's Private Kitchen ⭐️4.5 I was still thinking about Hua Jie when we left; it was just so delicious. As the first private kitchen in the ancient town, they offer 268 and 398 options; we booked the 398. They have a wider variety of mushrooms, and you can order more of your favorites. The mushroom sashimi was fresh, but the matsutake, black truffle, and bluebell sashimi weren't particularly outstanding. Only the golden ear fungus sashimi was surprisingly good. The black bean tilapia was very tender, with excellent seasoning—it had authentic local black bean flavor—highly recommended! The roasted small pig ears had a strong pork flavor, and the dipping sauce was tangy and refreshing. This meal truly showcased the flavors of both meat and vegetables, and we were both very satisfied. *Random Thoughts* The guesthouse also recommended Cun Da Guan and Long Jie's Private Kitchen, so I'm making a note of that. Also, Hua Jie's Private Kitchen and Mama's Taste are owned by the same person. We ate at the latter on our last night, and the cooking skills and ingredients were several levels higher at Hua Jie's. Mama's also sells fermented black bean croaker. Day 2: Heshun Ancient Town - Yang Dama's Rice Noodle Soup ⭐️3.5, Xinchen Restaurant ⭐️3, City Center - Baoshan Jinji Tongyuan ⭐️4 We tried Yang Dama's Rice Noodle Soup for the first time. A military guy was eating it next to us; locals really love it. It's like fried dough sticks dipped in a thick rice porridge made from peas or mung beans. Xinchen Restaurant's fennel meat pie is a no-go for those who don't like fennel. It's just like any other baked flatbread you can find. The "Da Jiu Jia" (a type of rice cake) was also very average. The rice cakes were hard to flavor, and the accompanying cabbage, tomato, and egg stir-fry was just as bad—each dish had its own distinct flavor. Baoshan Jinji Tongyuan is a popular spot with locals; it gets packed by 6:00 PM and is my husband's favorite. The beef broth is rich and flavorful, the beef is tender yet chewy, and the broth is filled with cabbage, radish, and pumpkin at the bottom, making it increasingly sweet and delicious as it simmers. The only downside is that the offal is sliced very thinly, and the staff were too busy to help with seasoning, so it was difficult to get the right balance… Day 3 - Hu Ji Roasted Pork Rice Noodles ⭐️3.8, Nana Sauce Rice Rolls ⭐️3, Mom's Taste ⭐️3.5. The driver took us to a roasted pork rice noodle shop located in a building materials market. Because it wasn't crowded, the meat was pre-roasted and kept in the kitchen. However, the taste was surprisingly good; I expected the meat to be tough, but it was tender! It also had a strong charcoal aroma. Later, when we left, the owner was re-roasting meat, revealing the aroma of the wood she had deliberately used. Nana Sauce was also taken by the driver because we couldn't find Aunt Cun's rice rolls in the old town. To be honest, the taste was good, but the food was cold, so it lost most of its aroma, which was a bit disappointing. Back in the old town that evening, I specifically went to Sister Hua's restaurant. It tasted like home cooking, and it was quite crowded. Overall, it was good, but the food there felt prepared rather casually. The lemon tilapia was still very tender, but not as exquisite as the private kitchen version; it was a little undercooked. In conclusion, my heart, broken by the tourist attractions in Tengchong, could only be healed by good food. Maybe I'd come back just for the food.
