Originally, I planned to go directly to Mount Wutai from Jinzhong, and after playing in Datong in the north, I went all the way south to Taiyuan, but because I didn&#39;t make an appointment for the summit of the Hanging Temple, I postponed Mount Wutai and the Hanging Temple. It was the same to visit Taiyuan first.
It is recommended to stay in Taiyuan for two nights. The two museums require one day, and the Jin Temple on the outskirts of Taiyuan must be checked in. If you have the energy at night, you can also go to the ancient city of Taiyuan. We worked hard all the way and basically maintained the rhythm of daytime activities and nighttime rest.
🍽Dining Recommendation:
Taiyuan Hotel is in the southern inner ring area not far from the Mural Museum. I am not very satisfied and do not recommend it. The Jincai Xiyuan near the hotel is very delicious. I went there for two consecutive nights, which shows that it is true love. Recommended dishes include Shanxi fried meat, Yellow River carp, and knife-cut noodles. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that there is no discount during the Chinese New Year, and the price-performance ratio is a bit poor.

It was already past five when we got back to Taiyuan, so we went out to find a barbecue. This restaurant has good reviews and is an old restaurant. It opens at six.

It is a Tsingtao beer store, which only sells Tsingtao series beers. If you buy two bottles of white beer, you get one bottle of drink for free (there are promoters, but they don&#39;t actively recommend it). There are not many varieties of ingredients, and the dishes are served quickly.
