Bingcui Restaurant

This Chinese restaurant attached to a five-star hotel has a very good Taiyuan flavor. The signboard says "Lao Taiyuan Lai". The waiter introduced several dishes, all of which are unique. See the pictures. I was very satisfied with the food. The environment is very good. The waiter is also very kind.

Bingzhou Hotel, located in the east section of Yingze Street, Taiyuan City, close to Wuyi Square, is the earliest star-rated hotel in Taiyuan City. The Bingcui Pavilion restaurant in the hotel mainly serves Jin cuisine, with authentic food, elegant and quiet environment, warm and thoughtful service, reasonable price, good cost performance, and is worth a visit.

Bingzhou Hotel is located in Wuyi Square in the center of Taiyuan. The overall style is very Shanxi. Unfortunately, since the hotel does not allow smoking, I can only stay in the hotel opposite. Before dinner, I came to the hotel's Chinese restaurant, Bingcui Pavilion, to taste local cuisine. Peanut cold noodles are just average at first, but the more you eat, the more delicious it is. The cold noodles feel a bit sticky. The bamboo shoots are okay, refreshing and not salty. Sweet and sour meatballs are slightly different from the sweet and sour taste in Shanghai. The sugar taste is obviously weaker. The outer layer of the meatballs is fried and hard. The overall taste is okay. Pork stewed with vermicelli? It seems so-so. The name may be wrong. Mutton pot is relatively refreshing. It is basically lamb with a little acetic acid. Yuncheng stir-fried pork is average. Scrambled eggs have a bit of Jiangnan characteristics in both light taste and presentation. The chewiness of oat noodles is okay, but it should be made by machine. Bingzhou Hotel is a very good restaurant in Shanxi for a five-day trip. It is a must-try in Taiyuan.
