Not bad~ It's next to the night market, you have to queue~ In order to eat other night market delicacies, two people can order one portion~ There are bean sprouts, green vegetables, eggs, oysters~ I don't know what the noodles are, I guess sweet potato noodles? Recommended to try~
The oyster omelette here is very good, mainly because the oysters are big enough, there is little flour, and there are lots of eggs. It is best eaten while hot. I ordered a portion of clams, but it felt like there were a lot of impurities.
I spent the first five days of the Lunar New Year in Taipei, and finally got to eat the oyster omelet I had been craving for on the fourth night of the new year. Because the store was closed from New Year's Eve to the fourth day, there was a long line as soon as the store opened on the fourth day. Compared with Lai Ji Oyster Omelet and Oyster Omelet King, which are also located in Ningxia Night Market, this Oyster Omelet at the roundabout is the most popular, has the longest queue, and is the most expensive, at NT$70 per portion. The boss was the chef himself that day. The old man who was working hard to make oyster omelets at the door of the store was the boss. After waiting in line for nearly half an hour, it was finally our turn. The store was simply decorated and packed with people. The oysters were large, tender and plump, and the sauce was super delicious. I highly recommend it!
I live near Ningxia Night Market, so I came here for lunch. However, it seems that not many restaurants are open at noon, so I just went into this one. There are not many choices. The waiter asked the kitchen if we had rice noodles. I was so worried that we didn't have any, so we went to another restaurant. Fortunately, they did. I've had oyster omelette in other places, so I don't want to eat it again (although it's a signature dish here). I ordered garlic oysters, turnip soup, and clam soup with rice. Turnip pork ribs soup is actually white radish pork ribs soup. Taiwanese people call white radish turnips, and the taste is OK. Clam soup, a bowl full of clams, the clams are very fresh and smooth, and they melt and slide down your throat as soon as you put them in your mouth. Great. Garlic oysters are just blanched oysters, topped with garlic. The oysters are very plump, and the juice inside can't be opened once you bite them. Not bad. All three dishes are very good.
Came here on December 22, 2018. In the bustling Ningxia Night Market, this shop is one of the most popular. In addition, the shop is not big, and at night, people will line up outside the door for their egg oyster omelet. Their "egg oyster omelet" is really delicious, with a lot of fresh oysters, and the eggs are very fragrant after being fried. However, their shop is really small, so it is recommended that everyone take away. Another solution is to buy a soup at the stall at the door, and ask the stall owner to bring the oyster omelet to eat.
This one has a permanent location at Ningxia Night Market and is incredibly popular, making it easy to spot. Ningxia Night Market boasts three major oyster omelet stalls: Oyster Omelet King, located near the roundabout, and Lai Ji, near the entrance. All three are popular favorites at Ningxia Night Market. But what about the prices? This one is the most expensive, at NT$70, while the other two are only NT$60 and NT$65. Why the NT$10 price increase? The difference is obvious, but I'll keep it a secret until you get a chance to find out for yourself!
