谌默默I went there when I first went to Taipei.
Business was so good, so if you want to eat early, you have to share a table.
The meat filling in the special steamed buns was very clean, and the vinegar dip was served with ginger, so the taste was relatively light.
The beef in the beef noodles was very tender, and the noodles were average.
[Service] was good, and the waiters seemed super busy, but they were still very timely.

Delicious Delicious food. I have to wait a long time to draw a number ticket every time. Because there are many tourists next to Taipei 101, it is always crowded. I waited for 40 minutes this time! When the food was served, I ate it all within 30 minutes. Hahahaha,,
The waiting time was about half an hour. The food was always delicious, but the dining environment was really noisy! There were too many loud tourists. Next time, I'd better go a little further away and eat at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi branch where it's quieter.
If you come to Taipei, you must go to the main restaurant of Din Tai Fung to experience it. There are many people queuing up. Go to the door first to get a number. If there are few people and they are willing to share a table, the waiting time will be shorter. No reservations by phone are accepted. After sitting down, soak the shredded ginger in a ratio of 1 soy sauce to 3 rice vinegar. The ordinary xiaolongbao is the most classic and delicious, thin and fresh, with complete soup and no broken. The service is great, and many waiters can serve Japanese guests in fluent Japanese.
I tried the 101 branch and heard that this one has the best products, so I came to the old store to try it. It was already 3pm, and there were still many people waiting for a table outside the store, most of them were tourists. It really lived up to its reputation. After waiting for more than half an hour, I was finally able to go upstairs to eat. The store is not big. Although it is an old store, the decoration is very exquisite, very clean and the seats are very comfortable. The food is reasonably priced, cheaper than 101 or overseas branches. The signature xiao long bao is really delicious, especially the crab meat xiao long bao. Sure enough, the products are better than other branches. It was worth waiting so long.
After exiting Dongmen MRT Station, I saw Din Tai Fung at the street corner. There were seats available, so I quickly sat down and ordered two trays of soup dumplings. After finishing my loofah, shrimp, and crab meat soup dumplings, I found that there were so many people queuing up. Din Tai Fung does not accept credit cards. If you really want to eat as much as you want, it costs about 1,000 Taiwan dollars per person.
Din Tai Fung (Taiwan), a popular xiao long bao restaurant where you have to queue for at least an hour to eat. Not only was it rated as one of the "Top Ten Restaurants in the World" by the New York Times, it also won a Michelin star! Their xiao long bao and steamed dumplings are absolutely superb! The fillings are excellent, the skin is thin and the juice is fresh. It's delicious! The average price per person is about 500 Taiwan dollars, and only cash is accepted!
There is always a long queue outside the main restaurant of Din Tai Fung. I got the number slip first and waited for almost half an hour before I got a seat. The signature dumplings and crab meat dumplings are each delicately crafted, thin-skinned and delicious, and the shredded kelp side dish is also a must-order every time. The only drawback is that after all these years you can only use cash!
