The white jade square cake in Dongshan is quite famous. This shop is located in Luxiang Ancient Village and has been open for many years. I bought a few pieces to try. The outside is still very fragrant and sticky. When you bite it open, you will find the bean paste. The bean paste is very fine and very good. If you like cakes, you should like the square cake here. Overall, it is worth a try.

🚗Transportation: Self-driving from Wuxi, the whole journey is on the highway, and you can reach Suzhou Dongshan within 1.5 hours. It is unobstructed all the way, convenient and fast.

📍First stop: Qiyuan
Arrived at Qiyuan in the morning. This rare lakeside garden in the foothills of Jiangnan hides mountains and lakes, and there is a scene at every step. Tickets are 🎫45 yuan, and students are half price. Qiyuan: commonly known as Xijia Garden, it was built by Dongshan wealthy businessman Xi Qisun in 1933 to commemorate his ancestors welcoming Emperor Kangxi. It combines the exquisiteness of Jiangnan gardens and the grandeur of Taihu Lake. It is known as the &quot;No. 1 Garden of Taihu Lake Landscape&quot;. Qiyuan has three treasures: Liu Yi Well, Kangxi&#39;s hand-planted bayberry tree and the Imperial Wharf. The Imperial Wharf goes deep into Taihu Lake. The double-eaved octagonal pavilion at the end is simple and elegant. Standing on the pier, with the pavilion as the background, leaning on the railing and looking into the distance, it seems that you can see the grand scene when Emperor Kangxi toured the south.

🍜Second stop: Xinglong Noodle House
After visiting Qiyuan, I was hungry, so I went to Xinglong Noodle House to eat a bowl of authentic Suzhou noodles.
