For a get-together with friends, we chose Yincheng Chinese Restaurant. The Chinese restaurant at this luxury hotel is impeccable from the ambiance to the flavors. 👍 My friend and I chose the newly launched open-fire fruit wood roast duck set menu, which includes appetizers, three exquisite appetizers, and four hot dishes. We were completely satisfied! 🎉 🌿 Let's start with the ambiance: The restaurant's decor is elegant and spacious, with soft, non-glare lighting. Window seats offer a glimpse of the city skyline, creating a perfect atmosphere for chatting and dining with friends. It's also quite private, perfect for a small gathering. 🥢The appetizer was a real surprise: The crispy pickled pepper broccoli: The refreshing feeling was immediately apparent! The broccoli was evenly sliced, pickled to perfection, and had a deliciously sour and spicy flavor. It had a crisp, crunchy bite, with no harshness at all. It's a true appetizer. White Jade Squid with Roasted Peppercorn Sauce: The squid is exceptionally clean, with a springy, chewy texture. Coated in a slightly spicy sauce and roasted pepper sauce, it's fresh and fragrant, and the more you chew, the more you enjoy it. It pairs perfectly with tea or wine. 🦆The Highlight: Fruitwood Oven Roasted Duck: The waiter explained that the duck is roasted over a lychee wood flame for 75 minutes. Just hearing the name speaks volumes! The skin was glossy and a charming amber color when it arrived, and I couldn't resist grabbing a piece the moment it was sliced. The duck skin is truly amazing! It's paper-thin and melts away with a gentle sip. The aroma of fat explodes in your mouth, accompanied by the subtle fruity aroma of lychee wood, without being greasy at all. The duck meat is tender yet not dry. Dipped in sweet bean sauce and served with scallion, cucumber strips, and a thin pancake, it's a rich, layered dish, a truly satisfying experience. The pancake skin is also excellent—soft and chewy, it won't break no matter how much you stuff it! The service was impeccable: From being seated to carving the duck, the service was attentive, the bones were promptly replaced, and the waiters were friendly. The entire experience was a wonderful experience. This set meal is a bit large for two people, but it's perfect for three or four people, filling up without wasting any food. I'll definitely be back for Peking duck! I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine Chinese cuisine and Peking duck. Chef Liu's expertly crafted Peking duck is definitely worth a try. #ConradHotel #YinchengChineseRestaurant #BeijingRoastDuck #FoodExploration #FriendsGathering
