We chose She County for this short trip. The city's prices far exceeded our expectations, but the food didn't disappoint. 1️⃣ My Sister's Handmade Snacks (Hongji Commercial City Branch) This little gem of a shop near the ancient city has a wide selection of affordable snacks, so we ate there for two days straight. 2️⃣ Hetianxia Huizhou Cuisine (Gucheng Branch) This shop is incredibly popular and the food is delicious. Almost every dish is delicious, and they even have specialties you can take home. 3️⃣ Longfeng Hui Cuisine: Intangible Cultural Heritage Stinky Mandarin Fish (Gucheng Branch) This is a restaurant in the ancient city. I highly recommend it. All the dishes were undercooked. I can only say the service is good. 4️⃣ Yuliang Two Trees Wonton Shop (Yuliang Zhubao Community Branch) If you're visiting Yuliang, this is a great place for breakfast. It's packed with locals, the atmosphere is average, and the dumplings are delicious. 5️⃣ Yuliang Stone Cake (Yuliang Zhubao Community Branch) It's right next to Two Trees Wonton Shop. You can buy some to go with your wonton soup. 6️⃣ Hetian Water Shop (Hongji Commercial City Branch) The health tea is quite expensive, but the ingredients are substantial. It's a good deal if there's a promotion. 7️⃣ Shishanming State-owned Enterprise Chinese Medicine Tea House (Huizhou Ancient City Branch) This is a tea shop with a Chinese medicine theme. Because they use Chinese herbs in their tea, the prices are a bit higher, and the tea is made more slowly. It's more enjoyable when served hot. 8️⃣ Liangjiazhou Distillery (Yangchan Tulou Branch) In addition to alcohol, the distillery also sells sour plum soup and fermented glutinous rice wine. It's a great way to take a break after a long walk. The flavor is rich, and the fermented glutinous rice wine is especially delicious. #Local food #Local snacks

I was traveling in Anhui and visited the ancient city of Huizhou in Huangshan. I was tired and wanted to take a break. Since there was a recent takeout discount, it was better than buying it at the store, so I found a place to sit and wait for the takeout to arrive. I ordered a cup of sea coconut and pear jelly, which is basically white jelly with coconut milk. I didn't get any sea coconut or pear, just a sweet, light coconut milk flavor. It was just okay.
