It's still okay, the stinky mandarin fish feels better. Compared with Huangshan Laoma, this one is still a bit expensive.
The food was delicious and the environment was great. There were five of us and we finished almost everything we ordered. The old hen soup was especially delicious and not greasy. Even I, who usually don't like chicken soup, drank two bowls 😂. I highly recommend it. Garlic shrimp and lamb skewers are also good choices. The small green vegetables are also very good ☺️ Delicious, in short, I highly recommend it
It’s really amazing to come to Huangshan during National Day! The crisp autumn weather, paired with the stunning pines and rocks of Huangshan, makes every photo a wallpaper-worthy masterpiece. 📸 Day 1 Itinerary: 🌄 Morning: Take the scenic bus from the Tangkou Town Transfer Center to the Yungu Temple cable car up the mountain (recommended arrival before 7:00 AM to avoid the crowds). 📍 Welcoming Pine: Huangshan's iconic landmark, located next to the Yupinglou Hotel (crowded but worth a visit). 📍 Bright Summit Peak: Huangshan's second highest peak, at 1,860 meters, the perfect spot for sunrise viewing (remember to bring a thick jacket!). Day 2 Itinerary: 🏞 Morning: Xihai Grand Canyon (must do the first and second loops; the cliffs are breathtaking). ♨ Lunch: Dinner near the Baiyun Hotel (around 80 RMB per person, recommended to bring your own food). 🌅 Afternoon: Watch the sunset from Shixin Peak (less crowded than Bright Summit Peak, more private view). Tips: ✅ Free water stations are available on the mountaintop; bringing a thermos is helpful. ✅ Book mountaintop accommodation in advance! We stayed at the Paiyun Hotel, which has a great location. ✅The cable car closes at 5:30 PM, so we needed to get down the mountain before closing time. Food Recommendations: 🍵Mao Tofu: Try Lao Xie's Mao Tofu in Tangkou Town, the south gate of the scenic area. 🍜Huizhou Stinky Mandarin Fish: The Hui San Shuo in Tangkou Town is very authentic. 🥟Ta Kue: A Huangshan specialty snack, sold in many small shops at the foot of the mountain. Getting There: 🚄Take the high-speed rail to Huangshan North Station, then take the scenic area bus directly for an hour. 🚗If driving, we recommend parking in the Tangkou Town parking lot. #HuangshanAutumnColors #NationalDayTravel #AnhuiTravel #HikingStrategies #UncommonVisitSpots

I decided to take my child and mom to Huangshan to escape the summer heat. I didn't expect that Xixinan and Chengkan would take the "slow life in Jiangnan" to a new level! 3 days and 2 nights of treading water, chasing fish lanterns, and staying in a rice field homestay. The child shouted "I will come again next year", and the old mother even saved the sunscreen (because she went out after 4 pm🤫) 🚗 Day1: Xixinan·Turn the stream into a "natural swimming pool" 15:00 Arrive at Xixinan: 3.5 hours of self-driving in Hefei, 10 yuan for unlimited parking (there are so many parking spaces that you can park as you like!), the homestay [Manyuan Jianshan] sent a shuttle bus to pick up, and the housekeeper also handed over iced sour plum soup🍹 The child gulped: "Mom, the air here is cool!" 16:30 Stream water wild time: After 4 o'clock, the sun softened, and I took the child to jump into the "mint stream"💦 The water just covered the ankles and was covered with round pebbles. I secretly brought a small net bag with me. My child squatted in the shallows to catch shrimps. Suddenly, he shouted, "Mom, look! There are small fish in the cracks of the rocks!" He was soaked, but his smile was brighter than the sun~ 18:30 Anhui cuisine surprise: The [Nannan Specialty Snacks] next to the B&B hides a surprise! ✅ The stinky mandarin fish is not stinky at all. My child picked up a piece of meat and said, "It's like grilled sea bass!"; ✅ The hairy tofu is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My mother said while eating, "It's more authentic than the ones in Tunxi Old Street." I found out that it was half the price of chain restaurants when I checked out! 20:00 Night tour of the ancient village: Visiting [Little Pian's Shop], the fish lanterns glowed in the dark compartment🎏 My child chose a pink fish lantern and held it tightly. We tried [green wheat soup] on the way, the sweet osmanthus flavor, the child licked the edge of the bowl and said, "It's healthier than milk tea!" The ancient village went to bed at nine o'clock, and the shops closed early, leaving only the cicadas and the evening breeze, so healing~ 🌄 Day2: Chengkan·Chasing fish lanterns in the ancient village 07:30 Morning fishing "The Wizard of Oz": Get up early to go to the small wooden bridge, the morning mist dyes the bamboo forest into an ink painting🌫️ The child is wearing a Hanfu and spinning in circles, the hem of the skirt sweeps across the dew, and the photographer mother presses the shutter frantically (there are few people at 7:30, and the whole scene is contracted!). Passing by again at ten o'clock, there are crowds of tourists, secretly happy that "the early bird catches the worm"~ 12:00 B&B lie down + food relay: Check out and stay in [Xiguan Yishu], the parking lot is right at the door, it is perfect for the party with children and mothers! The owner of the B&B recommends [Hui San Shuo], ✅ The stone ear chicken soup is so delicious that the kids even drank two bowls; ✅ The Hu Shi Yipin pot has plenty of ingredients, and the bamboo shoots and pork ribs are stewed until soft. 16:00 Chengkan Fish Lantern Adventure: Enter Chengkan from the entrance of Yongxing Lake and go straight to the fish lantern area! ✅ The sweet-scented osmanthus jelly in the Ouyuan syrup is so delicious that the child eats while watching the fish lantern master skewering the frame; ✅ The gelato with tea under the pavilion has the flavor of Longjing tea. Take a bite and "Mom, there is spring in my mouth!" The lights are on, and the fish lanterns are swimming in the ancient alleys. The child holds his own small fish lantern and chases after it, as if he has entered the set of "Big Fish and Begonia"✨ 20:00 Huizhifu Late Night Snack: Back to the city to eat [Huizhifu], ✅ The braised spareribs are boneless and tasty, and the child grabs them with his hands to eat; ✅ The hairy tofu is fried golden, and the mother teaches the child "This is the stinky tofu of Huizhou". The child hesitated and tasted it, and actually said "It smells good!" (The old mother's relieved face🥹) 🌿 Day3: The wisdom of leaving blank space·Turn regrets into reasons for the next time Originally planned to go to Bishan to visit the bookstore, but the weather was too hot, and the child shouted "The soles of my feet are smoking", so I decisively returned. I didn’t expect this “regret” to become a surprise - you don’t have to rush when traveling, slowing down is the true meaning of parent-child travel~ ❗ Tips for taking your baby (super detailed!) 1. Equipment: bring 3 sets of spare clothes (the stream will get wet many times), river trekking shoes (pebbles will not hurt your feet), sun hat + mosquito repellent (there are mosquitoes after 4 pm!); 2. Parking: 10 yuan/day for free parking in Xixi South, 20 yuan/time for parking in Chengkan Scenic Area; 3. How to play with fish lanterns: buy a small fish lantern (30-50 yuan), carry it to visit the ancient village at night, and the atmosphere will be maximized; 4. Avoid pitfalls: Don’t join a tour group in Chengkan! Follow the fish lantern route, the entrance of Yongxing Lake is less crowded and beautiful, and you can also avoid the large number of tour groups; 5. Food Easter egg: The sour plum soup in Xixinan is made by traditional methods. After drinking it, I asked the boss for the recipe and he actually gave it to me (I successfully replicated it at home!) When stepping on the water in Xixinan, the child said, "Mom, the summer here is green"; when chasing the fish lanterns in Chengkan, she said, "Summer is glowing" ✨ It turns out that the best parent-child travel is to let the child touch the world with his senses. Hefei mothers, don't worry about where to go for summer vacation, drive the car to the foot of Huangshan Mountain, let Xixinan and Chengkan turn the ordinary summer into prose poetry~ #Baby walk guide #Parent-child travel #Lying flat baby walk skills #Underestimated baby walk treasure land #The place where friends circle is asked about
