老唐老爷The restaurant is clean and tidy, and does good business with many diners. The most important thing is that it is cheap and of good quality. The dumpling skin is thin and the filling is large. The mutton bone soup has a rich base, and the portion is large and affordable. The service of the proprietress is also good. It feels good to eat there casually.

The dumpling skin is chewy but not too chewy, just right! Dried vegetable filling! I've only ever eaten dried vegetable filling! Because it's so delicious, I've never tried other fillings.

Nearby Food Street: 🔥 Grandma Gao's Creamy Mini Dumplings (Freshly made, not too hot, the cream topping isn't too sweet, my child can eat two at once) 🔥 Wang's Steamed Dumplings (Choose fresh pork filling, dipped in a little soy sauce, my child loves the pork filling) 🔥 Yellow Wine Milk Tea (Choose the non-alcoholic version, rich in milk flavor, my child thought it was regular milk tea) Afternoon: Garden Family Fun Activity 📸 Must-see spots: Guhe Pavilion: Let your child stand by the carved window lattice while you crouch down to take photos, using Taihu stones as a backdrop – super quaint and ancient! Lengcui Pavilion: Take your child to stand on the waterside pavilion's stone steps for photos of Hanfu reflections (make sure your child wears non-slip shoes to avoid stepping in water). Shuanggui Hall: If you come in autumn, let your child reach out to catch osmanthus blossoms and capture the moment the petals fall onto their hand – incredibly heartwarming! Three trips to Shaoxing: restaurants selected and curated over two weeks Three trips to Shaoxing: street food, old-fashioned restaurants in the city, restaurants in scenic spots, small eateries, even the city's morning markets... I tried almost everything. Today, I've selected 10 Shaoxing specialty restaurants that I think are excellent, starting with breakfast and dinner. All of the dishes are photographed independently. Due to the long time span, some restaurants were not photographed at the time, but this does not affect the perspective of this chapter. Must-try breakfast spots: 1️⃣ Tongxinlou: A signature Shaoxing breakfast spot, this takeout stall is known for its long lines. Recommended dishes include shengjian (stir-fried dumplings), beef noodles, and red bean paste buns. 2️⃣ Axing Triangular Dumplings: A Shaoxing-style brunch experience: triangular dried vegetable dumplings, minced meat and tofu noodles, bamboo shoot soup dumplings, and a bowl of lamb bones. A unique Shaoxing breakfast experience. 3️⃣ Pindian Convenient Breakfast: A 30-year-old breakfast-only establishment. Their signature lotus leaf dumplings, made with a lotus leaf base, feature a fresh, juicy filling and are a must-try. 4️⃣ Fushan Hengjie Breakfast Shop: A shop directly named "Breakfast Shop." Recommended dishes include the fried dough sticks, freshly fried with chopped green onions. The flavor is in the details. You can plan a special day to get up early and visit the Fushan Morning Market, have breakfast, and then explore Fushan Park. 5️⃣ Xiaoshen Shengjian: On the edge of Cangqiao Street, I stumbled upon it unexpectedly. A must-visit every time I visit Shaoxing. Affordable and delicious, their shengjianbao (stir-fried buns) are a must-have with their red chopped peppers. —————— Meals 1️⃣ Lantingji: I recommend the Jianhu River Three Fresh Vegetables, Drunken River Shrimp, and Blue Crab. I've had them twice, both on Cangqiao Street. Whenever I'm tired and need a nice place to rest, I always think of this place. There are so many restaurants on that street, and this one has a good balance of atmosphere and flavor. 2️⃣ Shaoxing Flavors: Intangible Cultural Heritage Restaurant: Fireworks rise from an old building, and you can sit down and order braised mixed fish, half a Huadiao chicken, half a dozen shrimp cakes, and a pot of Kuaijishan Eight-Year-Old Tea. The experience is truly amazing. 3️⃣ Wang's Steamed Dumplings: I was planning to go to Acong Restaurant that night, and I passed by Wang's Steamed Dumplings, which had a table set up on the street. I loved the feeling of drinking on the street, and I was persuaded. 4️⃣ Lao Huzi Restaurant: The originator of cheap restaurants and a staple on Fushan Heng Street. Needless to say, I recommend the fish head soup, sweet and sour pork tenderloin, and pickled mustard greens and mushrooms. 5️⃣ Aguo Restaurant: Many people label this restaurant a cheap restaurant, but I disagree. The food and ambiance are both fine dining standards. The fried shrimp is a must-try at every table, but the location is a bit hard to find. 6️⃣ Xiao Shaoxing: The dishes from the open kitchen are incredibly dynamic. Once you step into this restaurant, you'll find it hard to find the heartwarming atmosphere elsewhere. Recommend the pork ribs with preserved mustard greens and the pig intestines. 7️⃣ Xunbaoji: A long-standing internet celebrity in Shaoxing, this restaurant embodies the essence of Shaoxing cuisine and is available in various scenic spots. I ate there in Keyan Scenic Area and had a good experience. 8️⃣ Zuoji: Formerly known as "Shiwantou," it later changed its name to Zuojiu. It's affordable and delicious. It's similar to Ah Qiu Shi Wan Tou, but with a more down-to-earth feel. 9️⃣ Private Fengwei: A local favorite, this fusion restaurant specializes in dried vegetable spare ribs and oil-drenched chicken. 1️⃣0️⃣ Ciwu Noodles: Last but not least, let's end with Ciwu Noodles. Originated in Zhuji and flourishing in Shaoxing, this bowl of noodles singles out a category. When it comes to Shaoxing cuisine, who better to top it? Recommend Zhuji Three Fresh Noodles and Stir-fried Beef Noodles. It took me ten minutes to write this article, ten days to find photos, and three phones to check back and forth, leaving behind many lost memories. If you've visited any of these restaurants, please leave a comment in the comments section to share your memories and leave a lasting impression. #LocalFood #LocalSpecialSnacks #LocalSpecialSnacks #HaveFunWithFriends #ThePlacesMyFriendsOnlyFriends
