Opening the window, I was greeted by a splendid expanse of greenery, which immediately lifted my spirits. 🥳 I can't praise their Shan Chinese Restaurant enough! I couldn't get enough of it, even three meals in a row. The atmosphere boasts a low-key, luxurious, neo-Chinese style, and there's a new surprise every day, maximizing the seasonality. The sun was just right at 4:00 PM, so I took a dip in the outdoor pool. The water reflected the clouds, a gentle breeze caressed my hair. No need for posing; simply capturing a moment captures the relaxing feeling of vacation. At 6:00 PM, we made our way up to the second-floor Shan Chinese Restaurant for our appointment. As the set menu for two arrived, the savory, salty aroma of Shaoxing permeated the air. A celadon plate holds fresh seasonal produce, each bite a touch of Jiangnan delicacy. As I chew gracefully, dusk quietly gilds the lake. At eight o'clock in the evening, the lights of the Yatang Atelier warm up. Order a special cocktail and listen to a foreign singer sing jazz and old English songs. The melodies gently linger in my ears, and even time becomes soft. An occasional smile is exchanged with my neighbor. No words are needed; the comfort of the moment is precious enough. The next morning at nine o'clock, breakfast at the Huixi Restaurant holds a surprise. The fruit section is filled with fresh, seasonal cuts, and I couldn't resist picking out two large plates. Sunlight streams through the floor-to-ceiling windows onto my plates, and even the aroma of wheat on my toast is tinged with warmth. Eleven o'clock photo session is the most romantic. Choose a simple, elegant cheongsam and capture the moment amidst the manor's scenery. Each room comes with a photo session. By the time I receive the three retouched photos, I realize that I and the beauty of Jiangnan have become one, a painting. During my two days at Dongshan Grand View, there was no rushing to rush through the itinerary, only the leisurely pace of slowing down.
