正月初六Small rib noodles, pickled cabbage noodles, Pianerchuan, beef noodles, sunset fried rice... Full of ingredients! I especially recommend the boss's homemade sausages, which are made with safe meat and are very fragrant and delicious. Finally, the most important advertising slogan: the boss is a handsome guy!

Finally tried the slightly spicy pickled fish noodles, it was still a bit spicy, I will order non-spicy next time.

‼️ Shaoxing locals recommend: A collection of delicious restaurants that don't need marketing As a Shaoxing native for 30 years, I've scoured my phone's photo albums to compile a collection of hidden gems for tourists: 📍Aguo Restaurant: Mostly locals, business is booming, so make sure to book in advance! Recommended dishes include scallion kidney, stir-fried shrimp, and shredded eel. The proprietress can be quite impatient. Open on the 8th day of the Lunar New Year. 📍Fengle Restaurant: A 30-year-old restaurant with an unchanged menu! Traditional Shaoxing dishes include: Fried ling jiao (shrimp ring), stir-fried three-diced vegetables, vinegar-fried glutinous rice, and Shaoxing three delicacies. Open on the 8th day of the Lunar New Year. 📍Huangyiqiao Restaurant: A humble little restaurant on Cangqiao Street, the hometown of Lu Xun! The scallion duck and thousand-piece knots are must-try! If you're not too bothered by the surroundings, check out Xunbaoji and Shaodongjia, both nearby scenic spots. Closed for Chinese New Year holiday 📍Hebutou Restaurant: Traditional Shaoxing cuisine, located near Xixiao Road, offering a wide selection of traditional Shaoxing specialties, including pickled vegetables, fermented vegetables, steamed dishes, and cooked foods. Closed for Chinese New Year, open from the 7th or 8th of the Lunar New Year, but a good choice for weekdays. 📍Shangdingxian: A specialty noodle shop, popular for its bullfrog noodles and sauerkraut fish noodles. Try the fried crispy fish nuggets. Wang's Steamed Dumplings next door also has excellent preserved mustard greens (picture missing). 📍Axing Triangle Dumplings: A Shaoxing specialty from Xinchang. Recommend the preserved mustard greens soup dumplings and the minced pork and tofu noodles! The secret sauce is fermented bean curd sauce! 📍Master Zheng's Shaobing and Youtiao: Located in the south of the city, slightly away from the scenic area, this breakfast-only restaurant serves shaobing, youtiao, salty soy milk, wontons, and steamed buns... I've been going there for years. 📍Xiaoyang Snacks: Serves breakfast and lunch, and specializes in carbohydrates. Their mixed noodles are all excellent, with traditional Shaoxing-style toppings and alkaline noodles. 📍Hangzhou Lao Noodle House: This small shop has been around for years, a bit like Hangzhou's Sichuan style. Recommended: Shredded pork with leeks, green vegetable and oil residue mixed noodles... 📍Tongxinlou: A long-time internet celebrity, it's still a favorite among many locals. Their Shengjian (Shengjian) is the most famous, so expect a long line. 📍Taoji Crispy Fish: A long-standing East Street restaurant. The crispy fish with broth is delicious, but the rest is average. 📍Wujia Big Meat Buns: Open 24/7, they specialize in snacks, with their signature large meat buns, 8 yuan each, bigger than your palm! They also have small wontons, steamed buns, xiaolongbao, and other carbohydrates. 📍Taoyuan Restaurant: Another small shop only locals can find! Found in 2006, they're always delicious! Recommended dishes include fried ling jiao (shrimp rings) and scallion-oil kidney slices. 📍Lingjiang Restaurant: Located in the west of the city, next to Ejing Yayuan, this old restaurant is newly opened. Their salt and pepper pork ribs, stir-fried three-diced pork with soy sauce, and drunken chicken are must-try dishes. 📍Yuji Noodle House: Delicious Ciwu noodles in Jinghu! I usually have lunch there during the week! My go-to dishes: stir-fried beef noodle soup, large intestine noodles, and pork liver noodles. 📍Happiness Noodle House: A long-time internet sensation among Shaoxing noodle shops. Also in Jinghu, near Yuji, the wait is around an hour on weekdays. The toppings for their Sichuan noodles are all good, but the noodle soup is a bit underwhelming. 📍Fang's Clay Pot Rice: Locals go there for their fried skewers! Open only in the afternoon. Recommended dishes include potato slices (thin like Lay's), fried pork ribs, rice cakes (with the salty sesame sauce I loved as a kid), pork tenderloin, and lotus root slices. Some users have reported miscalculation, so be sure to ask for the price before checking out! #LocalDeliciousFood #TryAuthenticOldBoutique #LocalSpecialSnacks #ThePlaceMostCommentedOnlyOnFacebook #ShaoxingTravel
