I went to Shantou on a business trip and chose to stay at the newly opened Marriott Hotel. Breakfast was served in the western restaurant in the lobby. The entrance to the restaurant was on the left hand side of the elevator, so it was easy to find. The restaurant is quite large, with a rectangular layout. The food variety is quite rich, and it is placed all the way, and is also divided into different areas. There are hot food, cold dishes, western food, western-style buns, etc. There are also many Chaoshan-style foods, which you can try.

I've been here many times, but I still often miss the marinated food, beef, rice noodles, and sweet soup...  But this time was different: I was traveling with my family and kids, so I did my research when choosing a hotel 🏨. Marriott's new themed family rooms are perfect for families, so I chose a Little Fox 🦊 themed twin room for my kids to have a wonderful last stop in Shantou. Every detail of the room was meticulously decorated: the bedding, sofa, slippers, bathrobes, and plush toys were all Little Fox 🦊 themed. The kids had a blast the moment they walked in. It seems I made the right choice for this hotel! ‼ ️ The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and a large bathtub 🛁. The sink mirror even had a cute handwritten welcome message: "Hello~ Come kick peaches~" There's a sofa by the window, which can be used as a crib for younger babies. Very practical! Breakfast at Zhenchu ​​Restaurant was the most extensive hotel breakfast I've ever had. They even had rice noodle rolls! And they were incredibly authentic, with thin wrappers and just the right amount of broth. The signature noodle stall, where you can choose from a variety of noodles, also offers a variety of fruits, yogurt, pastries, and prepared foods... After enjoying the rice noodle rolls and rice noodles here, you don't need to go to a special online celebrity restaurant; the taste is almost the same.
